its finally the day

guys I’m having an identity crisis right now.  I’ve had this dog as my avatar for at least a year now and I honestly don’t know why.  it’s not my dog, I didn’t find the picture on the internet, I just saw this dog sitting in a pickup truck in upstate new jersey one day and I’m like “wow cool dog” and I didn’t even ask I just took a picture of the dog and sometime later I decided that his warm and trusting face was what my blog needed.  I have since lost the original picture of the dog and given the more traditional lifestyle generally present around the place where I took this picture its pretty likely that my avatar is the only picture of this dog that has or will ever exist on the internet.  I myself will probably never see this dog again, the only remnant I have of my experience with this dog is this picture, and yet he continues to stay, his warm smile accompanying all of my posts, his simple and content face being the only one that most of my followers will associate me with. this dog that I only knew in a passing moment has become a part of my identity on this website and will likely remain that way until the last day I visit this dying corner of the internet.
