I really like the hint of tragedy this scene has. Hank did represent something beautiful at one point, humanity's desire and potential to lift itself up and reach for the stars, but his bigotry and inferiority complex blinds him to the fact that we humanity doesn't need to do so alone, that the future can be for everyone. A really good showing of how poisonous hatred and prejudice are.

ok caught up with MAWS (just finished death of superman 3x05). Some thoughts:

I was thinking y'all were shipping Lex and Slade because it's the two men working together and this is tumblr but no actually why are they giving married couple here

I love a villain crashing out screaming "why is it you? it was supposed to be me, they were supposed to love me." oh that hurt so much. doesn't justify a reign of terror but oh hank :'(

finally finished the main quest on hogwarts legacy and like oh my god why is the game so bad

like the map is so big and therefore annoying to navigate without the floo powder and tbh I don't care about the 30 repetitive hamlet outside of hogwarts, why is more of the game not just in hogwarts?

It's arguably to justify the main storyline but then I don't like the main story all that much either especially when it was very little effect

AND you don't really interact with the other students in a meaningful way? like every now and then you get introduced to a throwaway character thats as relevant as a shopkeeper you come across and decide to help. And obviously theres the longstanding quests with imelda, poppy, natty, and sebastian, but poppy doesn't tell you much about her until the end, and Natty's story is kind of wasted potential tbh. There's a lot left to the imagination, which is great for fandom for sure like I have a version of this story in my head that's great, but you spend so little time being a student it's weird.

I really think the game would be improved if you could just bring other students with you on certain main story quests and not have them relegated to only side quests. And on that note get rid of the million side quests and field guide pages and locks and chests.

the combat is fine. it is silly they even give you the option to learnt he unforgivable curses to use just casually with no repercussions. And the lore of the world is fine I guess... it's existing IP.

but yeah pretty disappointing imo, kind of a slog to get through outside of getting to see more of hogwarts
