Riquelle, the warrior in flight. This is a draw this again challenge from a drawing I made 2 years ago and the first version was made 3 years ago. Riquelle is my oc who is based on the Greek mythical creature called Erinyes. Erinyes are creatures who murder everyone who commits a crime or does something "bad", even if it is something innocent. Riquelle's kind however are enslaved by the upper Demon (who is also my other oc, Astrid, her father). Each kill they make gets marked on their body in the form of a tattoo, a dot is a kill of a minor crime and a bigger design is for a big crime the person who they've killed made. However after so many actual innocent people dying, Riquelle had enough of it. It became too much, she doesn't want to kill the innocent anymore. Riquelle sees the good in people and tries to flee the the human world but in this particular scene she got caught that she wanted to leave and is fighting off others of her race, flying backwards ready to make a forceful attack. Riquelle slowly gains a more human like form because of how she sees good in people, that's how other erinyes caught how she changed and started to attack. Erinyes are an ugly race based on their hatred, their appearance reflect their heart/soul, Riquelle's beauty reflects her good soul. However humans may still be scared of her because of her bat wings and sharp eyes. I hope you like this concept and the illustration!
