DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION SENTENCE STARTERS
some trigger warnings may apply, under a read more for length
“I think you’re dumb and you smell.” “It’s about a girl who died in the Spanish Civil War.” “Holy makeout hair!” “You gave me a social disease!” “So when in doubt, you kiss ______?!” “So you live another day.” “That’s brutal, but you can’t compare me to those guys.” “Teachers aren’t people; they’re… teachers.” “For once I wanna do the right thing… you know.” “I wanted it to work. I wanted him to want to be with me.” “Bananas don’t give you boners. Hormones do.” “All I know is that I ate some healthy food and now I’m like, a sex Superman.” “You’re a vicious backstabber.” “Everything you say is a judgment… you think you’re so perfect.” “You made more than a mistake. You made a choice.” “Some advice: Find a dictionary and look up ‘pathetic’.” “Guys suck. They enjoy messing with our feelings - and then sticking us with the rent.” “It’s just been one disaster after another after another.” “Being an idiot is OK sometimes.” “She sees an opportunity. She goes for it. She’s like a rabid wolverine.” “Even I’m amazed at my brilliance.” “I don’t play well with others.” “She lives for stabbing you in the back, ripping out your heart and then stomping it bloodless with her pointy ballerina feet.” “I broke all my fingers. In a freak… a freak cupboard-closing incident.” “A big romantic with a disposable income. The best kind.” “Let’s declare the revolution begun. To heck with guys!” “No lip, or I’ll smother you in sweat.” “It’s OK to be single for twenty minutes.” “Fun? You call what you did to me FUN?” “The only thing I know is that making a movie with a bunch of high school kids is worse than making a movie with Ben Affleck… way worse.” “Wow… I must be the worst kisser in the world.” “You are the ones who are the filthy potty mouths!” “I’m not mean, I’m right.” “Why are you trying to hurt me?” “I just think the pain’s gonna catch up to you.” “Do not talk about the environment. The environment is not sexy. Do NOT talk about it.” “And who says money can’t buy you happiness?” “Christmas could learn a thing or two from Ramadan. After all that food, I could use a fast!” “He’s a little old for you.” “You’re a little jealous.”

Send me ‘💍’ for our muses to wake up married after a night of heavy drinking
Send "Can I kiss you?" to see how my muse responds.
I’ve been watching Ghost Adventures for ten minutes and I already want to punch this guy in the face
I desperately need to do things over here today so like this for a starter?
concept: single mother penelope dusek, initially terrified at the thought of motherhood and struggling with postpartum depression but fighting nonetheless to be the best mother AND father figure for her child and nurturing them no matter who or what they end up becoming.
lifeinpoetry:
you look just like your mother
i guess i do carry her tenderness well
you both have the same eyes
cause we are both exhausted
and the hands
we share the same wilting fingers
but that rage your mother doesn’t wear that anger
you’re right this rage is the one thing i get from my father

He’s been spending MORE and more time at the diner as of late – which he would deny was to have a reason to hang around Penny and probably say he’s just a big fan of their pie. Though he can’t figure out how anyone could blame him for wanting to be around her – she’s beautiful, clever, and was a part of his circle of friends while still feeling DIFFERENT than the rest. Blane’s heading to a booth in her section – where he usually makes an effort to sit – when he catches her eye and attempts a simple, cool ‘hi.’ Unfortunately, as his hand goes to find purchase on the table – it misses and Blane STUMBLES. Just a little but it’s enough to be the opposite of smooth.
He laughs it off and sits down while his BRUISED pride heals. “– So, how’s it going?” he offers in a friendly tone once Penny approaches. Blane also may be trying to roll right past his grand entrance just a moment ago.
He’s hard to miss – mostly because of the minor slip-up in his entrance, though it doesn’t help that Penny’s had an eagle eye trained on her section since her shift started. Sure, she pays attention just fine as it is. It’s one of many reasons she has her regulars, though she’s been watching for one in particular – and when he comes striding in, she can’t seem to help the smile spreading itself wide across her lips. She’s leaving her post behind the bar to head to his booth, before Brenda can whisper your boyfriend’s here as she passes with a plate, and has mostly forgotten his faux pas as she digs her pad of paper and pen out of her apron pockets.
“Doing well – it’s good to see you didn’t hurt yourself too bad.” And generally, it’s just good to see him, even if she did see him earlier at school – several times, actually. “I know you’re partial to the cherry, but we just pulled a pumpkin pie fresh out of the oven. I think a slice would go perfect with a day like today, personally.”
Is it a little contrived? Perhaps. But it’s also really good pie.
send 💕 to just grab my muse & kiss them!
“It’s all part of the game. It’s called, GUESS HOW I’M GONNA DIE?”
WHATS YOUR FAVORITE SCARY MOVIE?: ACCEPTING
“That’s easy – I’m going to say something sarcastic to the wrong person.” That’s what everyone tells her, anyway. “Are you feeling alright? I mean, clearly you aren’t, but – what’s going on? You look like you’re going to have an aneurism, and I’m not the person you want with you in an emergency situation. Trust me.”
“If you were the only suspect in a senseless bloodbath - would you be standing in the horror section?”
WHATS YOUR FAVORITE SCARY MOVIE?: ACCEPTING
“But I’m always standing in the horror section.” Ah, yes – she always has an excuse to throw in. As she says it, she lifts up the tape she’s been holding while trying to decide what other movies she wants to add to her stack for her weekend marathon. “House on a Haunted Hill – it’s a classic.
“Besides, I’ve got an alibi.”
lovesabitch replied to your post:“I’m gettin’ another beer, you want one?”

“I’m gettin’ another beer, you want one?”
WHATS YOUR FAVORITE SCARY MOVIE?: ACCEPTING
“Nah – I don’t want to be breaking news, y’know?” She dangles her car keys to further drive the point home. Sure, being a designated driver was shit sometimes, but there were worse things in life – and death. None, of which, she wanted to delve into at the moment.
“You know they serve other drinks, right?”
