Dumbed down Backstory: Leona was shunned from her Pride after she broke a sacred rule by stealing something that hadn’t belonged to her as a Kit

Hatred built up in her as she grew up alone out in the forest. She grew stronger and eventually was recruited by Eggman, where she finally had a home someone who accepted her.

While allied with Eggman she supported him by helping him take down his adversary Sonic. She didn’t hold any real grudge against Sonic. And she didn’t care if Eggmans story was true or his intentions for hating Sonic, doing it only because she was asked.

She only truly hated Sonic because he was better than her, and his friends because they were ‘annoying’ But after learning Eggman never truly loved her and was using her she grew even more angry, eventually breaking down. But Team Sonic helped her find her way and she changed her ways for the good slowly

Leona believed herself unredeemable at first. But after her change of ways she dedicated her life to helping mobians. Though she stayed pretty introverted until one got to truly know her. Then she’s quite loyal, strong and fierce.
