Mad as Hell: an Anti-Capitalist Demon Hunting TTRPG
Play as Radicals, members of various Communities, banding together to fight the literal demons of capitalism.
The only way to kill demons is to understand what quiet violence created them in the first place, work out how to solve that problem, and turn it into a weapon. Unless you address the root cause of the problem, the wound in the world will continue to fester, and the demon will be reborn, free to wreak havoc. To defeat the demon truly, you need to make meaningful social change in your communities and help those around you.
Mad as Hell is for people that are mad at the way things are but don’t know where to start. For people that know the world is fucked, who might not have one unified answer, but know they have to do SOMETHING.
The game is intended to create a safe, lightly fictionalised environment for aspiring and current activists to become familiar with the methods used in community organisation and direct action. It helps provide a structure that mimics the real-world approaches to tackling injustice through a radical lens, and take action against capitalism.
You know the truth now, and you can't look away. All the misery, oppression, and horror of capitalism and the modern world, it's creating demons. Literal demons crawl from wounds in the world and hunt those who are already suffering the most. No more. Our contribution to Orbital Blues Month is OUTLAWS X CORPORATIONS, a new double-sided sourcebook for Orbital Blues jam packed with a variety of new NPCs, locations, crews to populate the Outlaw Galaxy with.
Outlaws X Corporations is a “tête-bêche” book, a unique printing format where two companion halves are bound together to create a double ended book. One half features the rebellious Outlaws who lurk in the dusty backstreets and distant space stations, the other features the profit-hungry Corporations who dominate the shiny boardrooms and neon billboards across the galaxy.

OUTLAWS X CORPORATIONS has unlocked 2 of 4 stretch goals, including expanding Atmospheric Breakup into a fully fledged zine. At £60k, Orbital Blues artist & co-creator Joshua Clark will be creating a huge double-sided foldout map of The Reach.
F-Infiniti from PlusOneEXP raced past their first stretch goal and are closing in on their $20k stretch goal to unlock on an new solo play supplement by Elliot Davis.
A Fistful of Stars from STATIONS (and crew) blasted through their funding goal in the first 90 minutes and have currently raised over $20k.
Jupiter in Eb Minor by Lone Archivist (Orbital Blues' core book layout artist) has raised $7k with the support of 300 backers.
PARAMOUR by Josh Domanski & Chris Airiau has currently unlocked 3 of 4 announced stretch goals, including supplemental mechanics for running car chases in Orbital Blues.
