i hate that people think i just live with minimal furniture because i want to or because I'm too broke/lazy to furnish my apartment. like not even the people I know understand that it's because being homeless/housing unstable sits with you and I've been here a year and am still terrified of being on the street again. less stuff makes being homeless easier. less stuff means more couches to sleep on. less stuff means more time to find a roof. less stuff means less money for storage for the big things. less stuff is waisting less money on food.
