I don't usually draw jmkl (in a romantic way) buuut, a few days ago I saw some people saying on Twitter about how Jamil's favorite color is implied to be red...

And how he probably stares into Kalim's eyes longer than he should (inspired by that scene in the 6th anniversary where Jamil is looking at a ruby)

I think after a couple of times of floyds eyes hurting from not blinking, he just starts blinking constantly and really fast .everyone will think some is wrong with him mentally...even more now

Highkey jade might be the most well adjusted, maybe putting his eye drops every morning and night to avoid this

However, after having really sore eyes, he might consider if staying on land is really worth it

I think how i view jamil is that it's an innate thing for him to be bitter or resentful, like a sort of self sabotage.

Like not even considering kalim here ,but any type of really I feel he would grow bitter of it if a person had something he did like a long term friendship.

I think i sort of viewed him like that because of how sympathetic he is to the viewers like his backstory is tragic BUT SO IS KALIM'S!!! however ppl do brush away that because kalim himself has a happy go lucky personality and doesn't focus on his own backstory as much as jamils . This made me think like even if he was born as the heir of the asim ,his backstory still would be as tragic as cannon cus he would focus on his family and ppl trying to kill him for his position and still be resentful of kalim for having what he thinks is a 'nicer' life.

This is kinda why I don't strongly ship him with many characters BUT I love when ppl do aus of him travelling around the world by himself after he gets freed.idk to me I think he needs a spiritually journey than any relationship like friendship or romantic.

(Also pls don't get me cancelled on twt again. My momma is kinda homeless 🙏 and these are my opinions, not facts )

INSTEAD OF JAMIL HAVING BEEF WITH THE JASMINE CHARACTER WHAT IF KALIM DID, imagine if it followed the movie in which jafar is in love with jasmine but like jamil just really respects the jasmine character like thats how a noble man should act and jamil would actually want to serve him instead of kalim

Lowkey doesn't even have to be someone jamil wants to serve ,maybe a childhood friend. He would rather spend his time with than serving kalim

I feel like if jamikali swapped roles like fully , jamil would still resent kalim even if he was born into a rich family and kalim born as a servant .

He would resent kalim for having a loving family and that he has to risk his life all the time with the assiantion attempts while kalim has no importance so no one wants to kill him

While kalim would still be really happy, he's like, im best friends with jamil, and I serve him and protect because I love him :)

I feel like their personalities would be an innate thing, and no matter how much their circumstances change, they still stay the same

I like the idea of trey x idia, like imagine trey delivering food to idia since he feels really bad for him and knows he has a poor diet.

The relationship would develop with trey being the only person idia socialises with. And trey getting to know more about idia, with his caring side taking over with how realises how bad idia's living condition are.

Overall I think the ship would be really cute surprisingly

Imagine if kalim receives valentines chocolates from someone and he has to make jamil taste test them. And jamil is lowkey pissed that someone gave him that, and jealous cus he's inlove with kalim

SO he just takes one bite from the chocolate and says "these are poisoned, best to stay away from them now on"
