Intro to Us!

Hey there! We're the Space Station Collective! If you want a name to refer to us as a collective, you can use Solar!

We're an adult-bodied, trans, introject-heavy plural system!

This account will partially be used for us to look at system-related shit on Tumblr, but we will also likely be posting about our experiences as a system!

We do our best not to engage in syscourse on this blog, but we are supportive of and a safe space for ALL system origins!

Currently, our known headcount is in the 40s. We'll likely not make posts dedicated to introing ourselves, but below are a couple people you'll probably see frequently and some basic information (we will also be signing off posts with name and pronouns!)

Host (name anonymous as it's our bodily name) - he/they and, well, the host

Wil - he/him, secondary host and manager

Tommy - he/him, symptom holder

Danny - he/it/they, symptom holder and protective alter

Angel - he/it/any, negative habits holder (actively trying to find a better label)

Things we will probably have on this page: reposts of good information and probably memes, original posts with information we want to share (and also probably memes), generally unspecified posts about things we're experiencing related to being a system, and more! (I don't know what else, I just assume the others will come up with something that I don't expect). We run off of a queue with occasional extraneous posts, so at the moment we post at 6am, 12pm, and 6pm EST! We will occasionally post things outside of that, in addition to it, but that's generally our baseline! (How often the queue posts fluctuates, usually between 2 and 3 times a day, so check here if you ever want to know the current schedule!)

i've been still completely frontstuck, this seems like it might be a new normal to get used to at least for a while, and i've had a couple hyperfixations that have been drawing my attention away from being able to post

hopefully we'll be back to posting regularly soonish! there may be some stuff here and there but im not sure how long it'll be before we're back on having the queue fully running consistently

word of advice to genuinely anyone who wants to get more comfortable in your body/face or the body/face:

make an album of pictures that are basically "what do you MEAN thats me?!"

i've spent the past bit of time looking through and picking out like,, 9 pictures from the last couple months that i just really like, it's doing wonders for how i feel about myself in this moment

(granted, from a plurality POV (which is the point of this blog) i do identify pretty strongly with the body's appearance, so i think that does help)

but yEAH also have fun in pictures!! make funky faces, mess around with poses, have FUN you don't gotta be pretty all the time! (also dont delete pictures do noTTTT you will regret it! even if they look bad and awful to you rn there's a good chance that in however many weeks/months/years you will look back and love those pictures so KEEP THEM!!)

(im really tired and just got out of a bad mental health time, so i'm apparently in big internet positivity mode)

i haven't seen anyone actually mention this user, i think they're semi-new, but i wanna put a warning out:

there's a blog on here, @ / collectivelycorndogs , who appears to be a satire blog exclusively to make fun of both endogenic systems AND systems as a whole

please please be careful, i know for us sometimes seeing things dedicated like this can be very upsetting, and i want people to be aware and block them in case their account shows up

PLEASE do not go and interact with them because it's probably exactly what they want, just block and move on. they showed up on our dash because they're posting in endo safe / endogenic tags and general plurality tags

do what you guys have to do to protect your peace. i just want to help that in any way i can

Sal and I cofronted/were co-con for a concert we went to the other night with our friend and it was awesome, we both just got to hang out with her and see an artist we love (the plan was originally just for sal to front for it, but we've been having issues switching, so this happened!)

anyway yeah it was absolutely wonderful and i think more people, if able, should do things with headmates, its a good bonding experience!

so I've been our host for all of my ever (since before syscovery), so I can't guarantee that these will be any help, BUT I want to at least give it a shot

first of all, give yourself some leniency- it can be easy to fall into feeling like you gotta be perfect straight away, and you don't ! lean on others, internal or external, if you need their help, you don't have to do everything all at once and by yourself

also, self care is literally SO important and - if your system works similarly to ours - as host, you'll be fronting a lot, so it's extra important to make sure you don't burn yourself out. do things that you like doing, take time alone, take time with others, whatever you want to do ! this is an ongoing fight that our secondary host and I have been having with each other, neither of us are great at it, but it really does help

take your time and let yourself settle into the new form of how things are, it's gonna be weird and different probably and that is okay! any difficult emotions, you can ride out, and you'll be okay. do what you can, and you've got others to do what you can't - again, internal or external

woah WHAT hello everyone!

so that's that! i'm a tiny bit late cause honestly i didn't even realize the milestone was reached, but 150 follower milestone!! fuck yeah!!

re: a poll i did a bit back, the reward thingy is open doodle requests! i'll admit our art skill isn't the best, but we can do our best with whatever people may send in! if y'all send things in via the askbox, i/we can make posts with the things! (i'm not sure exactly how long this is gonna run, it depends how many requests there are, but i'll edit this post to notify when it's no longer open!)

i'm quite a lot frontstuck right now, so not many others have been around and it will probably be mostly me doing the requests, but there may be others if they can get into front!

so uhh yeah!! thank you guys so much for?? interacting?? im ngl i didnt expect this blog to go ANYWHERE when i started it, i was just bored and thought i could do some education, and here we are!! tysm anyone who is seeing this or has interacted at all on this blog! :D
