These are just my opinions and some artists may not be discouraged by these things, but I’ve been artist on this site for over 10 years and felt some of these things were at least worth mentioning. Thanks for your kindness everyone!

Additionally: Please do not edit and repost artwork without the artist’s permission. I’ve had a few of my color pieces recolored and reposted because people wanted to change up what color clothing character was wearing, and I’ve had a few of my black and white pieces colored because people thought they weren’t finished. This is hurtful for several reasons:

1. You’re reposting art that is not yours without permission.

2. The colors that an artist chooses are part of the artwork, deliberate choices, including black and white. Black and white pieces are not always unfinished and can be how the artist intended the piece to be.

3. Artwork, especially from smaller creators who may not be well-known, is not free for editing and manipulation. Changing colors/coloring artwork that is not yours without express permission is not acceptable, even with credit.

I might write this AU as a fanfiction, but here's the gist of it:

Junko harnesses the power of despair similar to the various love magics of the princesses and overthrows them, sending the world into ruin (the tragedy)

Killing games are held and televised to make ponies feel despair and feed her magic

She decides she needs a prince to rule with her. Hajime is unwillingly sacrificed to her by his parents, who see him as a failure because he's nearly an adult (think the age of the mane 6) and still has no mark

An intense dark ritual painfully overloads Hajime with despair magic, making him an alicorn and erasing his memory in the process. Junko renames him Izuru

The events of THH happen except with ponies (a powerful artifact makes it impossible to perform magic in the school)

Makoto also has no mark, despite most seeing his weird luck as a form of magic

Similar to how Junko harnessed the power of despair, Makoto learns hope magic, which earns him his mark and he uses it to end the game and destroy the artifact, but he isn't strong enough to overthrow Junko, who wants him dead

Izuru was inspired by Makoto ending the game and decides to protect him

Makoto is the first pony to not fear Izuru and to show him true kindness. As a result they slowly fall in love

Eventually, Junko attacks Makoto, but Izuru defends him. Makoto, despite being severely injured by Junko, uses his magic to help Izuru finally take her down
