You can get rid of that annoying url on the bottom of your gifs when you copy paste them on the beta editor. so if you have a gif you will typically see something like this:

To get rid of that you only have to press on the link button when you paste your gif url, here:

and then just erase the url that pops up

and click ‘Done’. That’s it. Your gif will appear without the gray bar.

(A writing partner just did this post on their indie and I thought it was so helpful. They didn’t want people to reblog it from their indie because of the notification hell it could create but they gave me permission to post it here.)

I’ve also noticed that this happen with gif that end with gifv. So you can always delete the ‘v’ before copy/paste the gif in question.
