Now that everyone is discussing Nolan's Odyssey movie, I feel like it's a good time to let non-Italians know that the production dumped plastic props into the Italian sea. Weirdly enough I could not find any article in English about it but it's a fucking problem nonetheless.

The only source anyone has produced on this is an Italian tabloid from a year ago that states that a pair of divers found a plastic skeleton and speculated that they ~might~ have been from the Odyssey filming. There don’t appear to be any follow ups by the paper or relevant agencies. I feel comfortable calling this dubious at best and likely out right bogus.

This is all just reporting from the same day on the fact that the original article was published and what that article alleges. Except for the link with 2 pictures of the divers holding what appears to be the same prop there’s no further reporting or investigation or verification and no updates. I don’t need to look through the replies because I looked for reporting on my own and found most of what you sent.
