as its disability pride month right now, here’s some new ableism in the uk

every airport run by manchester airport group (MAG) is no longer recognising the sunflower lanyard

they’ve also removed all signage of the sunflower from their largest airport (manchester airport which is the 3rd busiest airport in the UK)

you can still access a shorter security queue in manchester by paying for fast track which is only available to those who can afford it (and its costs as much if not more than some flights)

luckily individual airlines can still recognise it and give you priority boarding or accessible check in queues but that’s now down to the airlines

we recently had a more accommodating experience at orlando international airport than that

florida is doing better than the uk
