spent like a week cleaning up after my housemates after they moved out (they dumped about 10 bags of rubbish between them, there was a lot of mould in their rooms, they'd left rotten and mouldy food in the fridge, sink, and oven. One of them left a load of toenails in their room and the other left CHUNKS OF HARDENED HUMAN SKIN??) and I'm still losing like a third of my deposit over dust and a pair of bean bags my housemates apparently left somewhere. Do you know how much pubic hair I've had to clean up this year? How many times they've clogged the drain with god knows what? I've skipped eating insanely regularly to avoid going in the kitchen and having to deal with their mess I handled all the bills, I have the largest workload with school, I did all the cleaning and I never got a good night's sleep while they were both there at the same time. I even handed in their keys for them That flat was cleaner too when I left it than when I moved in

Tbh I wasn't expecting the deposit back (because I have no faith in landlords and I could have cleaned better I just lost motivation by the end). it just feels like a slap in the face

Doesnt help that I'm staying with family until my new lease starts and I've spent everyday cleaning up after them too
