Hi everyone!
This Thursday (8/16) my dorky 3 year old Australian Shepard mix tried to catch a rock mid air while playing at the river, breaking one of his top canine teeth and exposing the pulp and nerve endings. After going to the vet on Friday, I learned he will have to have a root canal in order to save the tooth and prevent it from rotting and allowing bacteria to enter his bloodstream. This needs to be done as soon as possible, so I am taking him to the nearest doggy dentist 3 hours away in Spokane, WA on Tuesday.
This surgery will cost $2000 including blood work, x-rays, medications, and radiographs. I work two part time jobs and spending this amount of money would completely drain my savings account.
Banks means the world to me, I have had him since he was 8 weeks old and his happiness is my number one priority, I am willing to spend whatever it is to make sure he will no longer be in pain and be able to heal ASAP, so he can continue his favorite activities of playing fetch and tug-o-war for the rest of his happy, energetic life!
I am hoping, and eternally grateful, for anyone who can help us out funding his surgery and help continue being the healthy boy he is! <3
