this is a pinned intro post to introduce myself on this blog. howdy, i’m sparks! i am a nonbinary goblin with adhd. i am 18+ and only follow those that are 18+ just for my own comfortability; as the occasional nsfw may come across every now and then on this blog. 

however anything nsfw and possibly triggering will be tagged accordingly. if there if something you need tagged, please feel free to message me and i will tag it properly. 

i may also try and be a writerblr and rpc help blog too! i’m thinking about creating icons and graphics on here for the rpc community. this is essentially a personal blog to dump my current obsessions onto, and i will do my best to keep it a safe space for myself and others. more info can be found in my about.

i think that killing a dragon should have catastrophic nuclear-fallout level environmental consequences tbh. their blood should scorch and wither the earth with fire and poison, the toxic fumes released as they decay should choke the land and all nearby living creatures, and the entire landscape where they fell should be transformed into a blighted wasteland where bleached leviathan bones loom upwards out of the ground as a warning that can be seen from miles away, the boundary markers of an exclusion zone.

i also think that it would be wonderfully ironic if those who sought the fame and glory of the title of 'dragonslayer' only ended up with the bitter, enduring reminder of the devastation they're responsible for. this is not a place of honor. no highly esteemed deed is commemorated here.

this isn't a moral statement so please dont' take it that way but. to me i dont think tumblr trying to make money necessitates backlash considering if it doesn't make money it will simply cease to exist. i genuinely really like tumblr and don't want it to go under, so i'd rather they find a way to make a chunk of their money off stupid little features rather than inundating their userbase with ads and selling their data.

learning to cheerfully dislike other people is I think a critical component of getting along with people who don't like you. Like as soon as I got a solid grasp on the fact that there is a wide swath of humanity that gets on my nerves and that it's my problem, not theirs, it got easier to be around people I find annoying. Once that's settled, it's easy to flip the reasoning around and conclude that if someone doesn't like me, that's a quirk of their own strange and arbitrary tastes, not a judgment upon either of us as a person. You can't like everyone. Not everyone will like you. It's fine. It's not a personal attack in either direction. We can exchange cordial nods across the room and then go on with our lives
