PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: It has come to our attention that certain online retailers are offering consumers ‘free trials’ of a compound called Garcinia Cambogia. This is marketed as a potent fat loss product. The are two huge issues: 1. There is NO reputable science to support this claim. I.e. Jack shit evidence that it’s even worth using as a fat loss supplement. We are more than happy to provide you with scientific evidence to support this statement: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3189865/ http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11134690 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9820262 New evidence is always becoming available, but at the time of writing, there is no strong science to support the usage of this supplement as a weight loss product. 2. This ‘free trial’ is actually a subscription service. Consumers are ticking the T’s and C’s, and then getting slugged HUNDREDS of dollars over time. Sometimes without even receiving ANY products. The company(s) are also notoriously difficult to contact, and therefore cancelling the subscription is near impossible. From what we can gather, it is typically FEMALES who are most at risk, with consumer reports to us suggesting that the majority of people signing up are females looking to lose weight via this apparently ‘revolutionary new fat burner’. Please, do not be sucked in by these companies. READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, and if it’s too good to be true, it probably is. Please share this info to keep others informed.Obviously, what you choose to purchase and put into your bodies is completely up to you. We only ask that you be very careful with what you purchase and consume, especially from online retailers. Furthermore, ALWAYS read through the Terms and Conditions, lest you get stung by a subscription service such as this.
