I’ve apparently never written this properly before. Just mentioned it. but??? Ichiji became blind after using sparking valkyrie for the first time during a solo mission. The heat and energy the attack creates and uses was, surprisingly, too much for his eyes and simply melted them away. He has succeeded in keeping this a secret for many years.
