Hey I know it’s been like YEARS since you updated [save scum] and probably dead but I’d just like to let you know even after all these and me not really interested in mha anymore I still think that was one of the best fics I’ve read and I still go back time to time thinking about it.

My question is, if your okay sharing, what was your end vision for the fic, any ideas you thought of before you stopped writing, and what made you stop and how do you think the story would have ended now knowing the end of mha

since I actually updated, I'm keeping this a secret >:)

and what made you stop

basically—my mom was diagnosed with a terminal lung disease around mid-2021, around the time when I stopped updating.

it was like I didn't want to get too attached to anything at all at that time. there was this looming specter of her death just over the horizon that made it hard to want anything for myself—plus she needed a TON of help.

then she passed in late 2023, and I gave myself a year or so of not expecting anything out of myself and just allowed myself to grieve.

as the years went by I felt guiltier and guiltier about not updating and figured people wouldn't care, but it turns out they still do <3

and how do you think the story would have ended now knowing the end of mha

honestly I haven't read the manga in its entirety yet. I know the broad strokes because people have been so upset about them on social media, but without having read it myself, this is a hard one to answer.

I think [[ save scum ]] will end up being canon divergent at the very least, because I didn't like the 'twist' of Dabi having met Dr. Ujiko before he joins the League. There are also other twists I've heard about that I don't think I am going to include, tbh.
