"I've got a Ha'Penny", is probably the happiest song I can think of. For those who don't know a Hay Penny is literally half a US penny. It literally was only around for less than 100 years. So in the movie Wakko worked for a year and comes back with only a Hay Penny, literally nothing, and yet the whole town celebrates that they are finally gonna make it out of poverty. The song has the most childlike feeling, fantastizing the whole song about all the things in the world you can buy like you earned a million dollars, with the context that this orphan child is fantasizing about the things to buy with half a cent.

Its so unbelievably pure. It's the most triumphant melody. Everybody is singing with the most shitfaced grin. Not to mention in the reprise Wakkos Wish is for him to get two haypennies. A cent, and instead of being pissed that the town didn't get like a billion dollars, the town celebrates that theyre going to celebrate getting out of poverty with their whole one cent. And it works!! It truly does reflect the spirit of animaniacs, for who cynical the show can be at times, it also makes sure to present things in the most lighthearted way possible, it really gives you alot of hope
