Terrible poetry times

I sometimes write terrible poetry to vent my feelings, I also love critical role, star trek, star wars, marvel and other nerdy things

People will see a movie starring 3 women who go on an adventure full of heart and of laughs, and then be like, "wait why isn't chris pratt making one-liners? this one is about females? 2 stars."

a good friend told me today

toxic friendship is just as harmful

as a toxic romantic relationship

we don't deserve either

and I bid farewell to those that do me harm

Convenient, close by, would invite her if it occurred to them

But if theirs were it was unthinkable

I've been wondering about spinsters of late,

The historical lone women,

Pariah?

Hideous?

Unlovable?

Or did they not want what society expected, choosing to be alone, choosing themselves.

I would be a spinster in history, yet today my mother calls me "independent",

I choose me.

Actually, Americans still have the original British accent. We kept it over time and Britain didn’t. What we currently coin as a British accent developed in England during the 19th century among the upper class as a symbol of status. Historians often claim that Shakespeare sounds better in an American accent.

Fun fact: Same thing happened with the French accent. French Canadians still have the original French accent from the 15th century.

Aka The Avengers have a fight (but not Thor or Hulk). Which makes it sound like I didn’t like it/am making fun. But I’m really not. I avoided as many trailers as I could for this film, barring the ones I saw when watching other movies in the cinema, because I didn’t want to be set up with the story/know the big explosions beforehand. I like this method because I can then be pleasantly surprised…
