More Witchy History!
Inheriting Witchcraft
Things to identify:
Inherited craft - passed down traditions
A witch who has inherited the craft and traditions from past family members may mean that said witch’s spells are very by the book, as they are more encouraged to keep the tradition going as opposed to branching out and creating all new spells from scratch.
Family grimoire
Typically a family grimoire is passed down from family member to family member, and is the main source for spells and traditions. It often ends up being the point of focus.

Comes from a long line of witches and has a powerful ancestor protector/teacher
Though witches who come from a long line of practitioners of the craft are not inherently born with better abilities than the average witch, they may instead be born with the gift of having very good teachers. This usually means that there is one or more ancestor who is looking over the family and aiding teach/carry on the legacy of witchcraft from one generation to another. Not all families have this or are aware that they have this, but most are quite in tune with their ancestors due to their strong beliefs in following tradition(aka they may not know who originally started the tradition, but said ancestor is most likely still watching over the family).
Nothing to do with bloodline, but everything to do with traditions and being raised into witchcraft
This craft doesn’t mean that someone is born a witch, however it may mean that they are more inclined to the craft or skilled purely because they were raised with it. Make no mistake, someone can grow to become very advanced in witchcraft without being born into it, but it is easier for heredity witches because they are supported and encouraged from an early age to practice the craft and develop their own skills/abilities as a witch. Again, this does not mean that heredity witches need to try any less.
“So, after all that, could someone be part of a hereditary familial tradition? Absolutely, he or she certainly could. But if what they're claiming is some sort of biological superiority that makes them witchier than everyone else, consider that claim suspect at best.“ - Wigington, Patti. "Hereditary Witchcraft."

The great thaw is starting!
Have the greatest Imbolc, especially for those who are stuck in the cold.
Sometimes the only way you have time to celebrate the autumn equinox is a pumpkin spice frappuccino and picking up acorns to make art with later, and that is valid
Livre doudou ✨
Contemplating on creating my beloved La Luna bath bomb into a bath potion(soak) for the shop.. ✨🖤
Made with euphoric clary sage and jasmine essential oils, and topped with dried jasmine flowers and star anise 💫
Clash sage is a lunar herb, as jasmine is a lunar flower. Very feminine and divine energies are given out by these two lovely ladies and are stronger together. My go to blend for lunar and dream magick and also connecting with the divine feminine.
I always feel much stronger, balanced, and more in tune with my inner self and outer surroundings after a night with La Luna, and I really hope to share this very dear to my heart recipe with many others 🌑✨
Which is the witch that bewitched you?
What did you guys do for Mabon? Are you looking forward to October?
