Friendly reminder

That writers are human beings with hearts who put a lot of themselves out into the world when they publish their writing, even if it’s fanfiction. We don’t have proper editors or often betas. We write in whatever spare time we have: on the bus, walking, on our breaks, in the early hours before work, in the evening... We love what we do but we are sensitive souls who have offered a slice of ourselves to you when we let you read our writing...

So please bear that in mind when you critique our work. It will always hurt a little bit, so choose your words carefully. Consider that something that takes you half an hour to read has taken hours and hours to write. Consider that often we might be a little out of our depth and out of our comfort zone.

If you comment something to someone and you’re not sure you’d like to receive it yourself, rewrite it until it’s more palatable (or don’t post it at all).

Sorry, I don’t usually post stuff like this but I’ve had a few comments recently that have made me want to just say the above. The internet doesn’t make us less human.

Writers—please reblog. You deserve to highlight this to your audience. What you give others is a gift. It is art.

How is "graveyard of stars" going? Are we going to get a new chapter? 😀

I’m sooooo late to this reply but I wanted to reply with a lil bit of info anyways!! Chapter ten is out and I’m hoping to have chapter eleven out very soon, I’m currently in the middle of editing it.

Chapter eleven is the longest chapter yet as well! And after that I think there will be about two or three more chapters left until the fic will be done. :)
