So here’s a true story: my father, sometime in the 70s was looking for his first job. He went to the local McDonalds and told the staff, [manager’s name] said I was supposed to start today. They took his word for it and started training him and by the time the manager saw him and asked who he was, people just said “oh that’s the new guy.”

Somehow this actually worked. My dad worked there for a couple of years as a cook. He even won an award plaque which he had on the wall until the day he died.

Help me with my research!

Hello everybody, if I want to graduate high school I need to write a big paper, researching something and I need help with my required pratical research. I cannot tell you exactly what my research is about, because it will mess with the results.

But if you could, please, take maybe 5 to 10 minutes out of your day to make a drawing based on the words ‘Alcohol and Smoking’ and send it to me.

I NEED YOUR HELP ! Trans and chronically ill!

I just got out of the ER and can’t afford it!! I also have have to start treatment ASAP. But I cannot afford do to so currently. I’m chronically ill with a Bloodclotting disease, lupus, chronic pain, and I’m disabled, I’m currently mostly bedridden at this time. I don’t have enough for rent, meds, or treatment OR this ER visit !!!!

My health is not well because of said stress, my flare ups are getting worse and more frequent (they’re extremely painful and leave me bedridden) this is why I’m jobless, I have endocrinologist, hematologist, and gastroligist appointments, and physical therapy to be able to use my dominant arm. I NEED ALL OF THIS, (I can’t afford this now that I’m trying to pay for bills that are behind because of said medical issues)...

I If I could get any help I’d really appreciate it. (I won’t be able to be making money for rent right now, or for appointments, and meds, etc.) ANYTHING and EVERYTHING counts at this point!!! MY BLADDER SHUT DOWN DUE TO A RARE REACTION TO A MEDICATION, I had to have a catheter put in, and its very painful.

And now I’m peeing blood. I’m scared. I do NOT want to go to the ER again, I still have to go in to get the catheter taken out in five days, which I also can’t afford..

Friday, November 15th: Hello everyone, I’m Gemma! I’ve had to remake this post, due to my last one losing traction and, I’m so sorry to keep asking but I’m still struggling with my bills and to make rent this month.

As most of you are already aware, I have been struggling financially for quite some time due to my welfare benefits (U.C & Housing Benefit) being revoked, under the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. And due to my mental health and some unfortunate DWP mess-ups, my benefits have been on and off sanctions for over a year now.

And in my previous post, I explained that I was waiting to receive the results of the medical assessment that I attended in late September through the DWP. I am hoping that the medical will fix my benefits and offer me more assistance as I am unable to work due to my persistent low mood and extreme fatigue, so I’m usually behind in bills and rent, and by behind, I mean drowning in red notices.

However, thanks to the help of so many wonderful people, I was able to pay off a huge chunk of my debt, but I still need help with my rent and a few other bills which have caused my bank account to go into an overdrawn state. I need a minimum of £685.26, rent £458 + o/drawn acct £148.36 + phone/internet bill £78.90 = £685.26.

And as many of you know, I don’t have anyone, no family or friends to turn to, so I don’t celebrate or get anything for the holidays, which I’m used to. So it would really mean a lot to me if anyone could help, and I also need help to get through the winter months as I haven’t been able to get any new clothes at all for this winter. I need tops, bottoms, socks, jumpers, blankets, etc, and I have created a wishlist with some items and a few Christmas gift wishes. But no biggie if you don’t want to, its just a wishlist!!

If anyone could spare any amount to help me get things, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Nobody is obligated in any way to donate or buy anything off my wishlist if they can’t or don’t want to, I know we’re all struggling.
