Strolling through the Burggarten (I think), in Vienna
Exterior of the Leopold Museum, Vienna
"Autumn Tree in Stirred Air (Winter Tree) - Egon Schiele
(Seen at the Leopold Museum, Vienna)
"Carpet" - Veronika Dreier What looks like carper is actually composed of thousands of tiny toy soldiers, set within the WWI exhibit
(Seen at the Leopold Museum, Vienna)
"Waterfall with Eagle (Pian di Genova)" - Robert Nodari So much color...
(Seen at the Leopold Museum, Vienna)
"Mother With Children Returning Home" - Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller The child being carried seems to say "Victory" (or also, "I know all the secrets of your soul!") And the three children on the bottom seem to be begging, "No, Momma, pick ME up!"
(Seen at the Leopold Museum, Vienna)
"House with Shingle Roof (Old House II)" - Egon Schiele The roof almost looks as if it's made of books, not tiles!
(Seen at the Leopold Museum, Vienna)
"On Lake Attersee" - Gustav Klimt Love the soft, merging colors here.

The aforementioned pizza, with mozzarella cheese, peppers, and grilled chicken.
Watching the World Cup final game in an Italian restaurant, with pizzas and Austrian beer.
Took a train from Vienna to Budapest today...
We got on the right train, which is a good start. But we'd been told reserving seats wouldn't really be necessary. What a mistake. Halfway through the voyage, a big group of teenagers got on. Their chaperone came through the car, proclaiming to everyone already there that most of the seats belonged to them and that we had to move immediately. Superb. Only finding single seats scattered throughout the cars, we once again had to stand for our train ride. I spent the next hour and a half fuming at how it had all turned out.
In the two hours we had remaining before we needed to find a place to watch the World Cup final, we visited the Haus Der Musik, a museum about famous Austrian composers, how instruments work, how sounds are formed, and how we perceive sound.
My lunch: tiny potato dumplings with cheese, topped with friend onions. So, gnocchi mac n cheese?
Staircase that the emperor used to use, which is now how one enters the Sisi Museum
