Day 1 of growing on the tevaplanter! I waited such a long time for these to come and so far I'm really liking them. As a starter test, there's just soaked chia seeds on it now. I never had a chia pet growing up but I'm so excited to see how it looks on this inside out planter. Also, it was super fun (and a little messy) to spread the seeds onto the cone.

Little bit of a mayfly infestation but I think it's under control now. Proud of being able to grow the sweet potato successfully from such a small piece.

Some of the bottom leaves started falling off the green beans today. I think it's just self pruning the leaves that were nitrogen damaged? Anyways here's two of the green beans that are growing really well!

Anyone know what's up with my green beans? Leaves are looking pretty sad. Nitrogen? Magnesium?

The ivy is loving it's new top shelf home 😍

I can't wait for all the dangly drapy vines to take over. I think that looks beautiful.

In other news, the plants are getting some coffee grounds today. Some of the leaves on the green beans and sweet potato are looking a little nitrogen deficient.

Oh aloe. What am I going to do with you? This thing has outgrown every pot I have and now my only option is to separate the babies. And I have no space to put more plants in the back bedroom (which is my plant room due to it having the only south facing window in the house).

You really are a monster of a stabby plant.

You can just BARELY see that what I thought was a bean/flower is really both! One green bean pushing it's way out of it's little flower shell 😍

The sweet potatoes are really liking being transplanted to the dirt. I've always loved the dark heart shaped leaves on sweet potatoes (definitely growing for ornamentation, not for food source).
