This thought just occured to me and I thought I'd vocalize it coz why not.

Why is every reader insert always ____ x reader. Why are they never platonic. Why can't I be friends with Dick Grayson instead of being railed by him??? Now, I don't often read reader inserts for this reason because I don't fancy shipping myself with other characters (don't care if other people do that's your business!). However, if Im desperate and too lazy to write my own fanfic, I will want to read a platonic reader insert BUT THERE ARE NONE. And if there are very few THEY'RE ALL FEMALE READERS.

And before anyone comes for me, I don't care what people write. My point is that there isn't enough just platonic stuff + male reader stuff.

Don't usually post this here but I just wanted to as a reminder that I do write lore about my Call of Duty OC (Austin) and post it! I've just finished writing the 4th chapter. It's not in chronological order however the time of where each chapter is set is said in the notes.

I will always grieving for Chip... And Dark Gaia too... They were so cool characters, especially how evil Dark Gaia was. You know what, I'll say it, Dark Gaia is everything Eggman wanted to be. That guy literally blow up the world and had so many creative minions 😭😭

Chip was also very good. He was such a cutie patootie. Also also!! The plot twist that Chip, a silly guy with amnesia and being funny was actually THE Light Gaia was the moment you realised that something bad would happen...

Thinking about Sonic 3 again, I've seen a lot of people blaming Jim Carrey for how bad the movie is. Which I get, he takes up FAR more of the movie than he should, but I do want to point out that he's not the one who made those decisions. That lies with the writers, director, etc Which is why I really don't trust how the fourth movie will be done, regardless of whether or not it has Jim Carrey in it. It's not about Jim Carrey's performance, it's about how the people in charge of the SCU have prioritized that over everything else. The decision to revive Gerald and dedicate that much time to him rather than Shadow, the main draw of the movie, or Rouge, the other main character introduced in sa2, or even Amy, a character introduced YEARS before Shadow, tells me all I need to know about who they're making these movies for, and it's not Sonic fans
