Droodles by Roger Price (from his 1953 book). Droodles (a blend of “doodle”, “drawing”, “riddle”) are simple drawings with a witty, often absurd, caption. The first one, as some of you may know, was used by Frank Zappa for his 1982 album, Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch. (Zappa, a fan of Price's work, lived just a few miles from the artist and personally sought permission to use the image.)

a tabletop roleplaying game about causing problems on purpose

Eat God is a (mostly affectionate) parody of all those tabletop RPGs about reality-warping martial artists with complete sentences for names on a quest to dethrone God, casting players as gender-ambiguous muppety things sticking it to the Man through the power of gratuitous cartoon violence. Using its extensive (and fully randomisable) character creation system, you might play as a blue-furred social justice advocate with detachable limbs; an amorphous, many-eyed horror with strong opinions about the nature of the cosmos; or a jet-powered telepathic crab whose interpretation of "eating God" is strikingly literal.

Backers will receive an expanded e-book version including illustrations, examples of play, bonus content, and (in the PDF version only) a professional full-colour layout. Alternatively, those with money to burn can pledge for a limited edition hardcover which will not be made available outside of this campaign.
