If you’re LGBT and you have OCD, it is common (and according to my therapist, almost expected) to have periods when you feel you’re faking your sexual orientation and/or gender identity, and to think you have somehow convinced yourself you’re not cis and/or not straight when you actually are. That’s just a symptom of OCD. Your sexuality is not fake, your gender is not fake. You are what you are. You’re ok. You’re enough.

There’s an entire sub-type of OCD that explicitly deals with constantly questioning your sexuality. Obviously, this can also overlap with ASD/ADHD.
