I’m very sad to tell you all that yesterday was my last at Tumblr.

I love everyone there and being a part of it over the last couple years has easily been the greatest experience of my life. I feel extremely lucky to have had the privilege. Thank you for taking me in, I’ll miss all of you terribly.

I don’t know what’s next, but I’m going to spend some time taking pictures until I figure it out. See you next year.

The Republic of Korea is one of the world’s fastest growing economies, boasting some of the most cutting edge innovations in mobile technology and construction. The nation’s capital, Seoul, is a living testament to this growth: a glittering metropolis of light and glass, endless opportunities and pleasures at the touch of a button. However, only a few decades ago, South Korea was a very different place. This was an era when finding enough money to eat was a challenge and the very real threat of war with the communist North always loomed just over the horizon. Yet these turbulent times also gave birth to a whole cadre of Korean psych and garage bands, whose recordings now constitute a goldmine of East Asian retro rock and roll.
