Sometimes I wonder why I even bother trying to make decent work where I either really nail the anatomy or movement or even try and finish a piece. Because it will never be held in high regard like a cheap, scribbled copy of a meme 🥴 At this point I’m convinced I’m delusional about my skill level and people are only liking the funny stuff just to be nice. Probably why people irl think I don’t draw anymore.

Ugh. I need to go take a life drawing class again.

I genuinely love your pieces, and I end up learning a lot, even just subconsciously, from seeing your art.

I’m sure everyone does art for different reasons: sometimes just to decompress, sometimes to get the feeling of trying hard at something that makes the heart sing, sometimes just to make friends smile, and I think all of those are wonderful reasons to put pen/pencil/stylus/brush/finger to paper/screen/canvas. I personally adore the styles I’ve seen you do, whether they’re perfect, snackable chibis or super anatomically lush sketches, and/or fully colored pieces, digital or traditional; your skill definitely shows, you aren’t at all delusional, and the work speaks for itself: it does really seem like it makes your heart sing!! And rest assured: your audience’s hearts sing in return when we see your pieces! They are a delight, and I bet we could recognize your pieces anywhere we saw them: they are very uniquely, and very perfectly yours ♥️

MG 1/100 Barbatos Lupus frame! Not technically a complete Gunpla but I painted, decaled and topcoated the thing so it feels like something I can share. Painting inner frames are so fun, I’m addicted now!!

the best fanfiction you've ever read was written by a woman in her 40s before she made dinner for her kids. it was written by a teenager after school when they should've been studying for a history test. and a barista came up with the idea while they cleaned the espresso machine and busser fact-checked it on their break and the post-doc edited between writing grant proposals and the nurse apologized for typos in the notes after a long shift and behind every drabble and one-shot and multi-chapter fic there is a person with a wonderful and interesting and chaotic life and it is such a privilege that we get to be apart of it because they decided to do this thing we all share, for fun.

The base I tried to paint to look like Mars is still drying but. 1/100 Mikazuki Augus. The paint ended up a little thick as I did a lot of coats to fix mistakes

Now that he has seen it, this is the piece I've been working on for 2 or 3 days. It was just supposed to be Treize in the chair but, as stated before, the train ran away from me. I intend to remake this later in my art career once I understand how to make a piece look like a painting instead of cell shading (which i have been informed is what i do). The remake will include Noin standing written Zechs (who will hopefully be less grumpy) and that wretched Oz lion on the wall.

This is a gift piece for @ask-the-oz.

I’m a bit peeved because I ordered a mg Barbatos but I think they lost the package in transit

So now I’m waiting for either them to find it or get a refund and buy it somewhere else
