It's fucked up that the only way some of you can appreciate Sam Wilson is by how loyal or supportive he is to the white characters yall stan. "Sam is so loyal to Steve, he's the best", "Sam is so supportive to bucky, omg I love him"
Yes Sam is loyal and supportive but that's not all he is. He has value as a character outside of what he can do for other characters. And if you appreciated him for who he is too, fine. But it's hardly ever that and almost always about how he's supportive to Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes and what he does for them.
It's literally the same shit with Maggie and the Grey's Fandom. "she's such a supportive sister to mer and helps babysit Mer's kids".
Try to see and appreciate black characters for their value outside of what they can do for your white faves.
