I’m sure I would have found Jinx to be “cringey” when I was younger, but coming into Arcane as an adult - having processed my own traumas and interrogated my own demons - I found her deeply compelling.

Watching season one of Arcane was both fun and emotionally exhausting. I feel so raw, so bloodied and buzzing. I haven’t seriously picked up a pencil in some time, but this show dragged me back…

For the past year, I’ve felt disconnected from my art. It came down to being overworked and unable to find the bandwidth. This summer, I’ve decided to finally cross that desert and seek artistic life again. I bought a new sketchbook and some Posca pens, and here’s page one!
