BatFamily Fic Recs Part 2
Hey All, here are some more BatFam fic recs for you! I consider these all to be favorites, so I hope you find a fic or two you absolutely love! All these fics focus on family dynamics so there is no slash, however, the ratings do vary so be conscious of that and be sure to read the tags before you read the fic! My Comments: THIS FIC WAS PERFECT. It is the wholesome-iest of wholesome. The fluffiest, funniest, feel good fic I have ever read. Truly one of the BEST BatFam fics out there. And don’t even get me started on the dialogue, it was absolutely masterful. A thousand kudos to this fic!
Come One, Come All by @incogneat-oh
Summary: He sits on the end of the bed, watching the slow expansion of Dick’s chest, frowning slightly. Tapping his fingers on the knees of his jeans absently.
Or, the fic where Dick is injured and the family are sticking close by.

My Comments: What can I say I’m a sucker for hurt/comfort BatFam fics. Dick is a total cuddle bug in this and I just absolutely love it! 10/10 Wholesome Fic.

Summary: The sleepover had been Dick’s idea.
In which Clark is a good but very overwhelmed uncle who is Trying His Best

My Comments: Uncle Clark is the best Clark. This honestly was just such a tooth-rootingly sweet fic. There are not enough wholesome Dick and Clark fics out there, but this fic will satisfy any Uncle Clark and Baby Grayson craving you’re having and leave you feeling warm and gooey inside.

Summary: Part 1 (Robin) - Batman needs a Robin, so Tim solves the problem.
Part 2 (Red Hood) - Gotham needs a monster, so Tim becomes one.

My Comments: I have read quite a few Reverse!Robins AUs (Aka Age reversal AUs), but this is a favorite by far. It also has one of my favorite and most unexpected plot twists I have ever come across. This fic does have a happy/hopeful ending but I will remind you it is rated M for mature for a reason and covers some darker topics.
Roadtrip Vigilantes by @beabaseball
Summary: Bruce Wayne gave up hope, stayed with the League of Shadows, and generally fucked up his entire life until a little kid called Dick Grayson came along and saved him anyway. Now on Ra’s al Ghul’s shit list, they travel the U.S. in whatever car they can get their hands on, trying to piece their hearts back together again.
A slightly different start to Batman.
Word Count: Teen and Up Audiences
My Comments: This is a story about one Dick Grayson being Bruce’s redemption and I absolutely loved it!!! This is overall such a unique AU, so it’s such a refreshing read. But Dick and Bruce also have such a loving relationship in this fic which also makes it so refreshing. Dick and Bruce save each other over and over again in this fic and I think that is beautiful.
Why we don’t meet at Bruce’s by Askell
Summary: Why the Justice League doesn’t meet at Bruce’s anymore. Also someone is covered in peanut butter, much to their discontent.
Rating: Teen and Up Audiences
My Comments: The energy of this fic is so chaotic, but in the best way possible. Definitely a fic to read if you want some BatBrother shenanigans, a ‘100% done BatDad’, and a shook-ith Justice League. 10/10 hilarious.
