"In this scene what we were hoping to find was something that showed a different side of Beckett. A more extreme side of Beckett. You know, somebody who’s felt powerless and has had to hold it together for the person that she cares about, and now gets her chance to explode. ~ Marlowe "It makes no sense for her to kick the door in, the guy who lives there is dead. But it just seemed that for Beckett, who kicked the chair over out of frustration and you know, some justification because of the lady’s behavior, but kicking the door in was just another expression of how she actually can’t do anything to really help Castle, nor stand in front of him and protect him from flying bullets. ~ Bowman

Stana Katic calls into StanaTalkRadio today (02/12/2013) to thank her fans.

“We had no idea who the actors would be when Andrew created the show. He wrote it without anyone in mind. Then when Nathan Fillion came in, he said “I’m this character. I’m this guy!” and it was pretty clear that he was. So casting Richard Castle was pretty straightforward. With Beckett, she was somebody new and it was important that she have chemistry with Castle, with Nathan; that there were sparks. We interviewed a lot, a lot of women. Nathan was very kind when we got down to the final few, he came in and read with them. With Stana, clearly there were sparks. Not to mention a tremendous talent.” -Terri Miller
