Creative CV. These are some images of creative CV ideas which I have come across online. I love the idea of the first image displaying a mascot image as that is something which I personally design on illustrator for clients/entertainment. I also love the professionalism on the layout on the darker CV but yet it displays information on the person applying for the job vacancy such as software skills and clever use of images & layout. The last image of the box I thought was great simply because it would be directed straight to the manager/owner and it would definitely leave them thinking about that creative CV once they have opened the box.

Custom Grip.

So after watching the gripping video which I posted earlier on my blog, I decided to give it a go for myself. However, I laser-cut my own custom text into the grip tape for the skateboard deck to make it really stand out differently.

Adding the little bits of grip into the text was a little difficult as I lost some pieces but I did manage to cut out some custom shapes using the grip tape I had left over to complete the piece.

Possible prints.

For the skateboard deck I have made some A4 sized black and white images for the laser to cut into the plywood layers of the skateboard deck. The reason why the images have to be black and white is because the laser printer only works on greyscale which is 2 colours black and white.

I have simply used the logo and added an image to create the fill of the vector to create a flower design on the logo. Hopefully when I print one of these designs the flowers will display at the bottom of the skateboard deck.

Photographs.

I took these photographs of some flowers I saw on a tree walking home from college. I thought this would be suitable for my pastel theme as the flowers are very bright pink. I really think these will make a nice print onto the skateboard deck I have purchased.
