When "Gender Criticals" say, "You can't change your sex," they think they are conveying the meaning that it's technically impossible, but it actually makes more sense to interpret it in the same way as telling someone who comes to your door, "You can't come in".
Like, yes, it is physically possible for you to come into my house, but I don't want you to. It would be unethical for you to do so. It would be a violation of the rules of polite society, rules that we've all grown up internalising to the extent that they seem like axioms of the universe.

So I really relate to cis women when they talk about literally the exact same thing; being shamed by everyone around them their whole lives for talking about their periods, so they just suffer in silence every month as it negatively impacts their work and social lives. except that's only half correct. yes, Christianity is utter bullshit that has objectively ruined humanity multiple times, but trans people aren't following some religious bullshit. all we are doing is, through the fruits of human progress, aligning our bodies with what we know we need to be to feel like something that isn't a skinwalker. or, alternatively, altering our worldview so it doesn't feel like something's off. or a combination of both. being trans is about realising the reality of who you are and taking whatever steps you need to be seen as yourself. Forcefem was a huge part of what helped me realize I'm trans and convince me to transition. I would always come across forcefem stuff and think "god, I wish that were me." Then someone told me "cis men don't wish that they were women" and it all clicked.
And I think all these chuds that claim forcefem is "tRaNsAnDrOpHobiC" know that. Especially since the stuff made by trans women makes it extremely explicit that the message is "it's ok to want to be a girl, you don't have to spend the rest of your life in misery pretending to be a man." It's extremely obviously not directed at trans men.
But transmisogynists view any trans woman that actually escapes the eggshell/closet as a tragedy, so they want to stop anything that helps us do so. They'd rather see a million dead closeted trans women than a single one of us happy and thriving as ourselves.
