I'm such a slut for God-I-hate-how-badly-I-want-him!Morty and literally just oblivious!Rick.
- Morty secretly spies on him in small ways; stealing glances at him, constantly. Of course, Rick notices despite how sly Morty thinks he is. Rick assumes Morty's an idiot kid and wants to be justtt like Grandpa. Why wouldn't he idolize him and watch his every move?
- Morty alone in his room thinking about their adventure that day. Thinking about how Rick put his hand on his leg when he was celebrating their achievement. He thinks about Rick's knowing looks and cocky attitude. He thinks about the quiet, imperceptible, tender regard he holds with Morty.
- He questions why he obsesses over these small touches and gentle phrases but he assumes it's because Rick rarely gives them out. He assumes he's just happy Grandpa Rick is proud of him.
- Even in the dead of night when Morty's jerking off, thinking about Rick on his knees, he believes it's just a simple, power-dynamic-type kink. He makes excuses that he'd never ACTUALLY do any of that, so it must be normal.
- "I mean... It makes sense, right? Rick's always so... Bossy. I'm sure I'd just like to boss him around for once." Morty tells himself, over and over, whenever the shame hits.
- Meanwhile Rick doesn't even know what's going on and that Morty has a dumb crush on him.
- Any awkwardness, again, Rick assumes is due to Morty being an idiot.
- So when he catches Morty asking for hugs, constantly looking at him, growing touchier and touchier, he thinks it's Morty being an awkward, attention-driven kid, always looking for praise and human comfort.
- Little does he know the praise turns his grandson on so badly all he wants to do is pull out Rick's dick while he's driving and blow him.
- Morty struggles with the moral side of it all. Obviously, it's not good to want those things. Is something wrong with him? Rick would surely be disgusted if he knew.
- But on the other hand, Morty can't help his jealousy and insecurity. Rick has nearly NO morals. At least not ones that align with others' anyway. If Rick could fuck a planet, why couldn't he fuck him? Didn't Rick want him? Wasn't he good enough? Was he too young? Or was it because of the obvious reason, he was his grandson?
- Morty eventually getting so frustrated at Rick for not seeing it. He gets so flustered he just asks him, during a particularly tense moment, "Are you ever going to fuck me or are you too scared?"
- Rick's face dropping in surprise like "Oh shitttt, that makes sense, actually...."
