I like these a lot ok let me add to them
Neil (he/him) → Todd was like his gay awakening and also helped him sort out his gender identity. Had a hard time accepting it but once he did he was actually really proud
Todd (he/him) → transmasc (idc if it wouldn't fit in the canon), achillean in the sense that he likes Neil and that's all he know, he's not so worried about figuring out his exact sexuality
Charlie (she/they/he) → it took him a long time to come to terms with his gender identity, as opposed to her sexuality where they just went "ohhhh of course".
Meeks (he/she) → very self aware, has been completely calm about his identity since he can remember. If anything it was the demiaroace part that caused him some trouble
Pitts (he/they) → had a hard time accepting himself when he was a kid, and then again when he was older. eventually he decided he just didn't like labels (theyre still there but he doesn't really reclaim them)
Knox (they/them) → only a repressed aromantic would go such ways for romance. but in all seriousness I think he just really liked the idea of romance and didn't realize it was just that, an idea.
Cam (he/him) → buddy don't get me started on his internalized homophobia and mild self hatred and religious trauma and oh my god
Ginny (any) → being demigirl was the best discovery of their life actually. not interested in figuring out her sexuality beyond the fact that she likes women
Chris (she/her) → also internalized homophobia. lowk has always known but convinced herself she could "choose" not to be a lesbian and be completely fine. like if I don't look at it it's not real.
Mr keating (he/him) → him and Mr mcallister... also not a fan of labels but would give them a chance if required

hear me out but Charlie would be a MASSIVE heckler. he'd go to Neil's shows or Knox's baseball games (cause I SAID HE PLAYS BASEBALL.) and pittsie's basketball games (cuz he's tall ☺️) and cheer so insanely loudly that one would think he had a megaphone. in fact, knox gave him a megaphone for Christmas one year for shits and giggles and Charlie actually cried tears of pure joy.
he also likes to bring Todd along with him and embarrass the shit out of him by yelling 'neil, your boyfriend's here! todd, say you love neil! come on!'
he is blacklisted in 2 stadiums, 3 theatres, and one public park (allegedly he frightened the ducks).
I feel like Charlie and Cameron would share so many of the same interests, but neither of them knows the other likes it
They only find out when they see or hear the other reference it and will start going on rants about it
Idk this is just a random post while I finish of some headcannons
Hello again! I was wondering if you could please write the poets reaction to being pushed into a pool? (Idk I thought it was funny lolz) Thank you so much!
Thank you for the request! I will say this is post is going to be the one that took me the longest to come up with only because there are a lot of variables. Such as, Which poet is pushing the other poet into the pool, is it a stranger at a huge party, is it a poet at a huge party or just a private togehter.
I've come to unless stated otherwise, it is Charlie who pushes them in and its a private get together. (The name in parenthesis is who pushes them in)
Todd
Definitely flails around in the pool for a few seconds before finding his footing.
Can laugh at it a little, especially if it's more planned out/a chase would have fun with it. Yelling at Charlie to stop it until he finally gets in the water.
If he doesn't expect it his mood shifts for the rest of the day, it's obvious as he gets out of the pool and basically hides inside for the rest of the day. Everyone does apologize and it makes him feel a bit better.
Neil
Instantly pops up out of the water with a shocked look on his face. Todd and Charlie chuckle the most.
The war is on for him, he chases after Charlie until Charlie is also pushed into the pool.
Once they are both in the water it leads to a water fight, splashing each other and accidently splashing the others leading to a free for all.
Charlie (Knox)
Get lulled into a false sense of security and gets pushed in when he least expects it.
Will definitely laugh and joke about how good the others got him and chuckle, but is fully planning revenege.
Asks for Knox's arm to help pull him out of the pool, instead pulls Knox in as well.
Cameron
Gets pushed in and instantly starts bickering with Charlie. Gets out to argue more face to face and gets pusehd in again.
After the second one, he's hellbent on getting revenge, they race around outside and somehow, Cameron picks up Charlie and tosses him in the pool.
Steals Charlie's towel as well to dry off a bit, before moving to a chair in the sun to sun dry.
Meeks (Pitts)
Similarly to Charlie get lulled into a false sense of security, Pitts takes his glasses off saying how they might get wet, and then Meeks realizes what Pitts means as he gets pushed into the pool.
Pouty as he gets out, has to be helped out because of his horrible eyesight, rejects any help from Pitts.
Pitts offers that Meeks can push him into the water if he wants, but Meeks says he isn't that cruel. He does forgive Pitts eventually just really drags it out.
Pitts
Gets pushed in and is more mildly annoyed than anything. Had random stuff in his pockets that got wet, like ketchup packets and 5 quarters.
He struggles to get out of the pool a little, trying to pull himself up form the side, instead of using a ladder or stair. The pools not that deep it's just that he can't fully bring his legs to the pool edge.
Hyper vigilante the rest of the day, never gets too closed to the pool or Charlie.
Knox
Gets pushed in and is over dramatically betrayed. Refuses to get out of the pool for a little.
When he finally gets out, he attempts to push Charlie in and just falls in himself. Everyone laughs at him, he laughs at himself after a minute or two straight of the others losing it.
Finally gets his revenge and pushes Charlie back in the pool, though he still somehow ends up falling in the pool.

knox and Pitts are ADDICTED to the smell of suncream, to the point that its the reason why they don't burn (they spend their lives reapplying every 10 minutes just to catch a whiff of that sweet sweet smell.)
neil tans beautifully, the rest of the poets all burn so bad that they look like lobsters at the end of each beach sesh
Charlie and Cameron have HORRIBLE rowing tan lines because they spend so much time on the water during summer in their outfits (costumes? wetsuits? idk guys im not a rower). they get SO MUCH SHIT from the other poets for it.
knox, despite being a natural burner, is addicted to trying to get a tan, and so is Charlie. they both argue that it makes them more attractive (no one but them notices a difference since their tans are so subtle, but they treat every shade change like the key to biggest glow up ever)
Charlie, pitts, and todd prefer the pool; neil, Cameron, meeks, and knox all prefer the beach. neil has to beg todd to take beach days because he hates the sand feeling.
when they were kids, Charlie and neil took a beach day with their families together. Charlie knocked Neil's meticulously made sand castle over, and ever since then Charlie hasn't been allowed anywhere NEAR any sand structures made by neil.
they have a tradition where they get ice cream after every beach visit! here are their favourite flavours:
Neil: chocolate, Todd: mint choc chip, Charlie: strawberry, Knox: Coffee, Meeks: Salted Caramel, Cameron: also strawberry (this pisses Charlie off really bad cause Cameron is 'copying everything he does'.), Pitts: lemon sorbet
Charlie unabashedly stares at knox whenever he takes his shirt off at the beach. some say their PDA gets even worse during summer, despite the heat
todd HATES the heat so much that he carries around one of those little hand-held fans everywhere he goes. he charges 2 dollars for 3 minutes use. in the month of July alone, he made almost 200 dollars.
in summer, knox gets painfully sweaty hands. Charlie swears he doesn't mind but even so, knox leaves wet patches wherever his hands go.
even in the sweltering heat, neil wants to cuddle in the evenings. todd refuses vehemently, but he permits pinky holding.
during summer, Charlie and neil paint their nails matching colours! as a group, they always buy a cute matching summer bracelet for each of them to remember that summer :)
knox and Charlie, despite being together, go out clubbing together and do a little cheeky flirting. they like to pretend its their anniversary at bars to get free drinks.
the poets like eating dinner at the beach and watching the sunset :) they're also always commissioned to take photos of Chris and ginny, who often demand sunset pics every visit!!
