It's still bothering me that Keith Porter is getting left out of conversations of ICE murders this year. I get that there's more attention in Minnesota overall, but there keeps being posts of "ICE's crimes", and they just. Don't say anything. I guess if it doesn't happen right in our faces, we don't care. Which is part of the problem. Shouldn't have to watch people get shot live action in order to care that people are getting shot, period.

as someone who remembers the patriot act and all the conversation surrounding it, it's a bit... of an experience being able to remember how many people pointed out that Terrorist was a politically convenient term which could be used to dehumanise and legally strip the rights from someone and that eventually all this would be used internally. and the response was 'nuh uh only browns with funny headgear are terrorists'. and then two decades of 'fighting age males' being blown to pieces at weddings because they might have, maybe, looked at a terrorist once. A week ago a head of state is black bagged in the middle of the night by the US for being a 'narcoterrorist'. And now an unarmed, random woman - white, citizen - is gunned down by jackboot thugs and before her body is cold she is, of course, a domestic terrorist.

If you are reading this, you need to know that the moment the US state needs to kidnap you, the moment a drone pilot decides you're in the wrong place, the moment you are bleeding to death on the sidewalk, you will be a Terrorist. Because anything can be done to a Terrorist.

Okay here's the full thing:

Our story begins here...

There was once a king. A king who longed for a companion. “Oh please give me a friend, a friend who understands me!” he begged at the stars, hoping someone would listen

“Oh? What’s that?”

Then as if the heavens had answered,  a shining ball of light fell from the sky. Its bright light pierced the night sky.

“Is that a shooting star?”

Upon taking a closer look, the shooting star was no ordinary shooting star. It was a cookie!

The shooting star crashed onto the ground just as fast it appeared, it shook the ground. “Oh dear! I hope that cookie is alright, I should go and help them!”

The king quickly rushed where the cookie had landed.

“Hello? Oh dear. I hope that fall hasn't hurt you too badly. Please allow me to heal you” There was no answer. The king called out to the cookie once again, growing more worried.

“H-hello?”

After a minute the king decided to take matters into his own hands.

Just as the king was about to head towards the cookie, a beam of light appeared from the cookie. 

“There is no need for you to do that. For I am here to help you!” said the cookie.

“Help me?” asked the king.

“I’ve heard your wish from the skies. Please, if you would, allow me to make your wish come true.” The cookie moved closer to the king, meeting his gaze.

Gently squeezing the king’s hand, the cookie introduced themselves “My name is Pure Vanilla Cookie and I would like to be your friend. No one but myself can understand your pains, your sorrows, your joys.”

As Pure Vanilla said those words, the king felt something in his heart. Was this happiness? Excitement? Perhaps a mix of both? It doesn’t matter for there is one thing he knows for sure, he is relieved to have someone he can lean on and call friend.

“My name is Blueberry Milk Cookie, it’s nice to meet you!”
