Digimon Partners for the TWST Cast | Pt. Pomefiore

( Summary: Basically how they met and more. )

(A/N: Sorry if some of these seem out of character. Also this is a LONG post and some spoilers for Book 5.)

(Lilithmon)

Pronouns: She/Her

Vil met Lilithmon sometime before the event of Book 5

It was a chance encounter when Vil was coming back to the dorm after he had returned from a photoshoot for a product line before he saw a random women wondering around the front garden

He was going to sneak away and report her to the school staff, but she quickly spotted him

At first, her intimidating presence made him think he was going to be threatened into keeping her presence known on campus or worse.

Luckily, this was not a normal Lilithmon

In fact, she got on the ground and begged for Vil not to stay in the dorm and to not tell anyone. Not in any elegant fashion either, almost pathetically

Either out of sympathy, or to not draw out more attention, Vil accepted the digimon's terms. But only if she stayed out of sight from everyone at the dorm

As promise, this peculiar Lilithmon kept her promise and tried her best not to be seen by anyone of the dorm. Though, Rook quickly caught on that Pomefiore had an new resident

But, she couldn't keep hidden forever, for something caught her eye. That being VDC, she became intrigued by the dance and was so excited by the prospects of seeing what would essentially by an official idol concert

She got spotted a few times, and did back off before getting caught, especially by Baal!Yuu and Vil

Vil because of her promise and Baal!Yuu because when they spotted her they immediately started shooting at her

But, anyway Lilithmon tried her best not to get involved. But, she couldn't help it once she heard about the online results about Neige's song

To her, that childish song of a daycare performance had no right to be more popular than NRC's song so she tried to poison Neige on her own when Vil's attempt failed

Fortunately, Baal!Yuu and Sandiramon (Jamil's partner digimon) caught her before she could do anything

Then, a blind rage overtook her and a dark aura surrounded her. She had gone into a frenzied state the same time Vil overblotted

For the two didn't know it, but during that time Vil tried to keep her hidden they had formed a partnership and Vil overblotting also affected Lilithmon

After being defeated, Lilithmon was no longer hidden from the rest of the dorm and has taken up a role of a seamstress and tailor

This is because this particular Lilithmon wasn't the one part of the the Seven Demon Lords, but one that evolved from a different digimon who used to hunt down virus digimon and by absorbing too much data from them, turned into one herself

She always had take a liking to fashion and had a more bubbly personality behind her combat abilities so she is happy living a much slower life style in Twisted Wonderland, rather than being mistaken for the Demon Lord of Lust back in the Digital World

Evolution Line

Sistermon Blanc -> Sistermon Ciel -> Lady Devimon -> Lilithmon

(Sistermon Noir can also be used in place of Sistermon Ciel)

(Meicoomon)

Pronouns: He/They

Epel met Meicoomon in secret during the event of Book 5

Epel thought Meicoomon was a normal street cat at first and took them in, not wanting to freeze in the cold winter

Then when Epel had his first introduction to digimon from interacting with the other first years and Ball!Yuu, Epel realized that the cute cat they smuggled in was actually a digimon

Meicoomon, figuring out the act was over, apologized to Epel and said he really didn't have a place to go after he was spirited away to Twisted Wonderland and begged Epel to let him stay

Epel agreed, mostly because he felt bad the cat digimon had nowhere else to go and the fact they were able to help Epel eat through the apple's his family

Meicoomon really loves apples and is willing to eat almost anything if it has apples in it

Meicoomon also really understands where Epel is coming from since they always wanted to be seen as a strong digimon, but ended up evolving into what is considered a cuter variety and not taken seriously

Even after they evolved into their perfect form and found it so cute compared to other digimon that were more monstrous or tough looking

They both help each other work through their own issues and they become good partners because of it

Evolution Line

Plotmon -> Meicoomon -> Chaperomon -> Cendrillmon

(Cendrillmon could also be replaced with Nyabootmon. Personally though, I like Cendrillmon since it fits with Epel's unique magic)

(Dobermon)

Pronouns: He/Him

Dobermon met Rook before the events of Book 4

Rook was out and about observing his fellow classmates and had gotten carried away

While in the dead of night, they encountered Dobermon who snarled at them

Before they were transported to Twisted Wonderland, Dobemon was hunting for his next meal before being transported here

He thought that humans were weak, so he attacked Rook so that he would not tell any other human about his presence

Rook, however, defeated the Dobermon however

The digimon, shocked, thought that Rook would turn him into whatever human authorities were nearby and have the digimon locked away in a kennel

Rook, being the eccentric person he is, thought of an even better plan for the digimon

Seeing the hidden beauty and elegance in the digimon, he had decided to take the digimon in and teach (read train) the dog digimon in the ways of beauty

The digimon was understandably confused by the stranger, because what kind of human raddles off nonsense like that

At first, the digimon did not take the Pomefiore student's antics and tried to leave

But eventually, they gave into the human's strange ways and the digimon became more refined and stuck around Rook

They still felt the need to hunt though, but Rook delights in it by playing a game where they try to hunt the other down

Dobermon is also more of the strong silent type and let's Rook do most of the talking

Also if anyone outside of NRC sees Dobermon, Rook plays it off that he is a beloved pet of his. Dobermon will even play along so that his tamer doesn't get in trouble

Evolution Line

Gabumon -> Dobermon -> Vamdemon -> Vamdemon (X-Antibody)

(I could not find a good mega that fit this guy, so the final stage of his partner is the x-antibody variant because why not. If I had to choose, maybe Neo Vamdemon, but it didn't vibe with me. Also Vamdemon could probably be replaced with Splashmon)

I got Pokemon Legends Z-A for Christmas and I hope that I can break a trend that happens every single time I play a Pokemon game on the switch. The trend being that every time I go on their journey, my trainer gets white hair. It happened so much that I made in lore reasons for how they get white hair.

Sword/Shield: Started off as a brunette before they decided to become a ghost/dark type trainer and started dying their white hair for the aesthetic

Legends Arceus: Started off looking like a copy of their twin who is Sinnoh's champion before his hair and eye color changed because of the space-time waves and taking a point blank shot from both Dialga and Palkia. Also let his hair grow out due to spending most of his funds on items

Scarlet/Violet: Started off with blue hair but turned white due to exposure to terastal energy

I will draw the before and after later and hopefully I won't end up making my Avatar's hair go white this time.

Sorry for the question, is there any more information about Repeating Storyline AU (A TWST AU)?

Hello there! It's okay, but the main reason I didn't focus that much on the Repeating Storyline AU is because I didn't see that much demand and basically got caught up writing for my Digimon X Twisted Wonderland AU. But here's some more information for it to make up for it. (Be prepared, this is a long post)

The idea behind the AU came from the Twisted Wonderland Time Loop theory which talked about the fight with Grim being unbeatable at the end of the game and so Crowley reset time in order to prevent the events from happening.

I then thought of the idea that 'What if it wasn't just Yuu and there were a bunch of people before them who had to experience being dragged into Twisted Wonderland, each summon repeating the story over, and over, and over again until finally they can get it right.' Thus, the Repeating Storyline AU. With the added twist that the people who were summoned to Twisted Wonderland before Yuu were actually the alternate version of the cast.

An example of what would go down before the timeline reset is this:

A normal magicless human from Earth would be summoned who is the other version of one of the students connected to the overblot

This is done to be somewhat relatable to either the overblot or a person connected to them and thus help out more, meaning a more likely chance for everyone to defeat Grim and stop the doomed future

However, something would eventually go wrong with either the summoned human being defeated by an overblot, Grim, or some other coincidence that gets them dead

So Crowley, would reset the timeline, start the story over again but this time summon someone completely new

Great plan so far? Well, not really. Crowley didn't know that there would be an unforeseen side effect. The summoned Earth counterparts didn't have a place to go back to since the spell didn't undo their summoning and while their body would disappear back to Earth, their soul would have not made the transfer. This would cause an error in a person's memory about the alternative that they would inevitably be drawn close to said soul and learn about what happened in the previous timeline. So how does the spell "fix" this? By shoving the soul into their respective Twisted Wonderland counterpart and make them carry the soul until a summon is able to finally defeat Grim and everything will go back to normal.

This also makes things a bit worse since memories of the past timeline would then leak into the Twisted Wonderland counterpart, not only that but of the Earth counterparts' lives back home. This would cause dissociation of what their life was like, error's would start popping up in people's memories about people they did meet but at the same time didn't, and on rare occasions the Earth counterpart with have their soul awaken and would take over the body of the TWST counterpart randomly.

When a soul took over the body of their counterpart they would then try to help the next summon or try to get the summon out of Twisted Wonderland so that the same fate didn't happen to them. But they would fail each time either because it was bound to happen or before they could find a way home the TWST counterpart would take back control, the actions of the Earth counterpart would be seen as a dream they conjured up.

Then there comes Yuu. Someone Crowley decided would be perfect since they are the closest thing to a blank slate and so could play out their role of helping students the best. But they had a secret supernatural gifts. That being aware of anomalies in reality and being able to dive into other's memories and psyches. Which lead them to finding out and bringing the souls of the Overblot's Earth Counterparts back to proper consciousness after the overblot fights. Now that they are more aware of each other, they try to help out Yuu by being more present for overblots or finding a way home so all the souls could go back to their bodies and more importantly, home.

That's what I originally came up with for this AU. I might start writing for it if it strikes my interest again or if anybody is interested by the concept. Especially with Book 7. The concept of the cast meeting their Earth counterparts in dreams sounds kind of fun.

Digimon Partners for the TWST Cast | Pt. Scarabia

(Iguneetmon)

Pronouns: He/Him

Iguneetmon appeared a month before Book 4

They weren't seen much around at all. Maybe if you spot him then he will quickly disappear at a moment's notice but they went undetected until the events of Book 4

He took an intrest in Kalim and how he acted so carefree, similar to other Iguneetmon, so when he suddenly started acting like a relentless tyrant he suspected something was up

Before Baal!Yuu and Grim were dragged into Scarabia, he figured out it was mind control and helped the best he could by creating soundwaves that would break the mind control on Kalim

He did this until he was discovered Baal!Yuu while sneaking around

He wasn't the only the digimon found there since apparently there was another digimon somewhere in Scarabia, but for now the two of them made a truce to help each other out and stop Jamil's plan

After Book 4, Kalim had a proper introduction to Iguneetmon. After which he insisted on throwing a party to celebrate the new residents of the dorm

Iguneetmon turned out to be very reliable and managed to do most of the chores, other than cooking

At first Kalim found this as a good thing. Not only did it mean Jamil didn't have to work all the time and could start being his own person and it meant they had an extra pair of hands

Then, Kalim learned from Baal!Yuu and the other Scarabia digimon that this behavior wasn't exactly normal for Iguneetmon. They were actually pretty lazy yet fun loving digimon and it was weird for one to be so reliable, grounded, and serious

He also came to his own realization (with a slight hint from Jamil) that this is kind of like how he was treating Jamil like before. Sure he was his friend, but still relied on him heavily for tasks and such

Feeling bad and not wanting to repeat any mistakes, he basically talked to Iguneetmon and tried to make him relax more by trying to do some chores by himself while Iguneetmon, though not with the best results

Iguneetmon was a bit irritated since he was being treated like a kid and even blew up at Kalim

Once the situation between the two clamed down and they were able to talk, Iguneetmon told Kalim why he doesn't exactly behave like a standard Iguneetmon

It was because he didn't have the luxury to spend lazing around all day since he grew up in the most dangerous depths of the Digital World's jungle

Most of the time he had to survive on his own and there wasn't a place in that jungle where he could properly relax without a stronger digimon or dangerous plant trying to harvest his data

He couldn't even properly evolve to a higher evolution level other than Rookie because of the fact he had to stay small to avoid the larger digimon

Kalim took in the information well, recognizing that digimon had a much harsher upbringing then him. But still explained that he did not want to make the same mistake he did with Jamil and end up having his new friend become a servant

They both came to a solution, Iguneetmon would help Kalim with teaching Kalim how to do basic chores and whenever wanted to do something fun Iguneetmon would join in

The two ended up becoming friends, but Iguneetmon made sure to reel in his partner's behavior when he went a bit overboard with spending or pushing boundaries

Kalim is getting better on his own time, but he's still thankful Iguneetmon helps keep him in check

Evolution Line

Iguneetmon > Agnimon > Aldamon > Wargreymon

(I feel this one needs more explaining. Not only did I choose because I thought a Xros Wars inspired Iguneetmon would be more interesting and I just didn't think that the gold/wealth based digimon. Also, Wargreymon's attack reminds me of Kalim's sunny personality and his cosmic attack. Just know I stretched for this one and if anyone has a better opinion of a partner digimon for Kalim I would love to hear it.)

(Sandiramon)

Pronouns: He/They

Sandiramon was the other digimon hiding in Scarabia, being there for an unknown amount of time

They kept hidden by burrowing themselves in the sands of Scarabia and spied on the humans more out of curiosity rather than any malicious intent

They took a particular notice to Jamil. Sandiramon could see the potential he had, and how it was wasted. It made the digimon want to whisper in the boy's ear about rebelling

Then he noticed how Jamil was hypnotising Kalim. They didn't really care, this was a human problem and from what they heard from 'coincidentally' eavesdropping on Jamil's plan he thought that Jamil was justified

But then Jamil overblotted, and that managed to be enough to get the snake digimon out of hiding

And the way they made themselves known to Jamil was quite the introduction

During the Jamil's overblot fight there was a rumbling and quaking in the ground and before Jamil could react, Sandiramon came out of the ground and dragged the phantom down into the sand and destroy it

Afterwards, the two had a proper introduction and it was decided that Sandiramon would stay in Scarabia. Mostly due to the fact that it was already the digimon's natural environment and Kalim already planned on taking him and Iguneetmono in

Sandiramon, not needing to hide anymore, then decided to hang around Jamil

They couldn't help him do chores much and honestly having a giant snake hang around them creeped the Scarabia student out, but at the same time they were good company

One night, Jamil asked Sandiramon why he was even hanging around him

This eventually lead to a debate between the two. Sandiramon arguing against the very idea he should limit himself and that even the Al-Asim boy gave his blessing so he should take it instead of falling back into old habits and hide who he was

Jamil argued back that even if he did, what would it change. He was still in the position of a servant to the Asim household and the only thing that would come of it was anger from the very household he was told to make sure not to overshadow

They continued this debate back and forth, trading cruel words and cunning blows. It ended when Jamil argued back against it by saying that why he should he take advice from a monstrous snake who only interfered out of his own desire? What makes him in the right to tell him what he want? And that he already knows this and already said it playing straight that while he keeps his head down he'll still manage to make his way to success and there is nothing an overgrown snake would say to pursue him otherwise

Jamil expected anger from the snake, instead he was met with a smile and was told before the digimon disappeared into the sands. "Congratulations. You have me as an ally and one victory against the Asim boy."

Jamil didn't know what they meant, but ever since then Sandiramon subtly encourages him to take opportunities for himself and tries to make Jamil stands out while still blending in

Nothing crazy, just points him in the right direaction and let Jamil's natural intellect take charge

He also refers to Jamil as his tamer/partner, which Jamil thought that was what he meant that he managed to get a digimon partner before Kalim bonded with Iguneetmon

Imagine his surprise when he went to Baal!Yuu to ask more about digimon and he found out that basically a well known holy beast digimon of cunning and cruelty, known for serving one of the many protectors of the digital world, and who barely takes an interest outside of his duties, just claimed to be HIS partner

Suffice to say that he was a bit conflicted that his partner was a loyal and feared follower of a digital GOD, but the oversized snake does make at least decent company

Also the fact that he changes into his rookie form to save Jamil the hasel of making a big feast just to feed him and they eat any bugs so Jamil does not freak out over them. That is also a nice touch

Patamon > Coatlmon > Sandiramon > Mervamon

Day 0: It’s time…

Okay, just watched the first episode of the anime! It was everything I hoped it would be! It is incredible, I loved the animation, how they introduced each character! Also th introduction being Piece of my world before switching to Obidence for the ending is perfect! I wonder if then they will use that opening for all the seasons while the endings are songs from the respective songs for each dorm! If so, I can't wait to see them animated!

Not to mention the voices. Whoever was in charge knew the correct ones to pick! Oh I am so excited for the next episode when it releases!

Also, whoever had the idea of the end credit scene skits at the end was a genius! I can imagine that they adapt more little scenes like that, or maybe even the vignettes! They could also introduce characters who don't get much screentime in the earlier chapters like they did with Malleus! They also look so cute as little charms!

Anyway that's my opinion. Ho check it out by any means necessary! Going into this with high hopes!
