{ what is it with stuff I like and the feeling of a star in people’s hearts being at the root of their passions, I was playing Trauma Center and it just struck me that that’s a theme in that as well. apparently both idol girls & surgeons have that in common who’d have thought }

Miku’s pout faltered slightly when she mentioned writing lyrics. She craned her neck in an attempt to read some of them, but… well, the computer wasn’t really set up to give her the best vantage point. How annoying!
“H-hey! I’m not strange!” Her pout was back, though now it looked pretty forced. It was hard to be angry at someone who was working hard to make music, after all. She quickly turned her back to Kasumi to hide her poor acting skills.
“…What kind of song are you writing?” She tried desperately to sound nonchalant, but her eagerness shone through anyway, “I mean, I am a famous singer, so maybe… I could take a look at it when you’re done and see if it’s any good. And maybe I could, possibly, sing it if it is good. Maybe.”
Ah yes, perfectly disinterest and cool. Way to go Miku.
Kasumi was pretty amazed at how realistic the A.I was, noticing how enthusiastic Miku seemed, despite how much she was trying to hide it. It wasn’t exactly something that she hadn’t seen before, since she would witness it with certain friends of hers quite a lot, and she could always tell when someone had a passion for music.
Although she was pretty curious about how an A.I felt music. She had felt music like a star beat in the heart, but how did it “feel” exactly to something that didn’t actually have one? It must have felt so different but the thought made Kasumi feel rather strangely excited. To find out about such different types of passions for music, was one that thrilled her, and she began to energetically press her face up to the screen, with a shine in her eyes.
“You really love music, don’t you? I can feel it! You don’t need to hide it, I totally get it!” She grabbed the notebook that had the lyrics in it and aimed it towards the screen. It was full of a bunch of scribbles about various things. “I’ve not really got anything yet, I’ve been trying to think of something... I want it to be something new though...Something that’ll evoke a completely fresh feeling in people!”
“Toyama on... Toyama on.. Toyama on...” Kasumi shook her head. “I just don’t get it...Am I missing something? Toyama on.. TOYAMA ON...”

“Ah, if it isn’t Kasumi-chan! Fancy meeting you here.” Kaoru greeted, crossing her arms as she leaned against a wall just outside a clothing store. Usually, the mall wasn’t so busy at this time, which proved to be the case here and also made it a bit more of a lucky coincidence to run into the Poppin’ Party member.
Tilting her head, she gave the other girl a slight, curious smile. “Forgive me, but I can’t help but wonder; what are you doing here all alone? Did you not bring your little friends along?”
“Hey Kaoru-san!” Kasumi raised her hand up and waved it excitedly towards the other, before bouncing over towards her, pleased to see someone she knew. She shook her head her expression falling as she responded to Kaoru’s question.
“I wanted to search for new outfits for PoPiPa, but everyone has something they’re doing...” Her expression picked up again, a grin appearing on her face. “So I’m going to try and find something that’ll make their hearts pound when they see it! It’ll be a great surprise!”
“And I’m glad I ran into you! Are you here alone as well? We can go shopping together!”

“Ne, ne, pay attention to me!” Miku shoved herself against the glass of the screen, obscuring everything behind her. Ah, seems like ignoring the weird program until it goes away won’t work here.
“Why are you being so mean? I already told you I’m here to help!”
Kasumi looked towards the screen while a pen was still in her hands. Somehow she had accidentally installed this A.I when she had been trying to download the VOCALOID program which was all the rage. Perhaps it hadn’t been a good idea to allow Tae to be the one who installed the program for her.
“S-Sorry, I-I wasn’t ignoring you...I-I’m just trying to think of song lyrics for the new song my band is debuting.” She smiled widely towards the screen, flipping into her usual passion despite her bemusement, almost forgetting for the moment that she was talking to a computer program. Her expression feel a little after a moment though. She rubbed at her cheek, still feeling bemused, although she was one to pretty easily adapt to unique situations.
“I-I’m not familiar with having A.I friends, but...” Her smile widened again with a small nod. “I suppose it’s a heart pounding new experience! It’s just this kind of experience and feeling I need for inspiration for song writing! E-Even if it is pretty strange... N-No offense, uh, Miku-chan!”

“T-Those clothes, that hair... Could it be...” Kasumi looked the other up and down, a sparkle shining in her eyes as she clasped her hands together. "It’s making my heart beat ! It feels like it’s going to explode! This usual feeling...”
“You’re a star aren’t you?! You have the beat of the star shine inside you?!”
If Arisa was there next to her, she’d have likely tried to begrudgingly ‘translate’ that into, ‘You look like you’re a performer, probably a pop star’. Unfortunately though Arisa could hardly be there to act as her personal “nonsense translator” 24/7.

Kasumi spoke passionately out-loud to no one in particular, as she bounced down the street. In her mind she was picturing herself on a large stage in front of a massive cheering crowd, all going crazy with passion. Through her earphones the music was being blasted into her ears, absorbing her into her own world as she began to air-guitar.
“STAR BE-EEEK!!” There she went crashing right someones, and practically knocking herself onto her rear in the process.
“Sorry! I was in the middle of a live!” She tapped her chin after her split second lapse of discerning between reality and her imagination. “Well not a real one, but it was still heart pounding! The lights, and the music and the crowd and the--” She made a small leap while shooting her arm up into the air. “-- STAR BEAT!! ”
“Then I crashed into you. I’m really sorry for that, are you alright?”

Kasumi stood holding a pile of posters in her arms, bouncing from person to person. She was dressed in a short, blue & white frilly dress, that was decorated with stars around the chest area, and angel wings that protruded from the back, making her stand out, along with her general bubbly personality. It had been an idea that she had had to draw in many people as possible to their live the following evening, by advertising it to whoever she could when she wasn’t practicing. And although she was getting a number of bizarre looks and the odd laugh & giggle from passersby she hardly cared, being too excited about performing at the upcoming live.
Her eyes fell onto a certain young woman who stood out among the crowd with pink hair. She was wearing a fashionable outfit, and it immediately drew Kasumi’s eye as looking really pretty; Without any hesitation she bounced over to them.
“Whoa, that outfit is so cute!” She protruded a poster out towards the stranger. “Please come to our live! We’re Poppin’ Party, and we’ll make your heart beat! We’ll have plenty of music and cute outfits too!”
Starter call! Time to try and get things going on here, so anyone who wants a starter of a varying length please like this post!
