ive been busy lately but had a bit of extra time to sneak in this lil comic,,, gabriel stop being weird challenge and no, adrien, my poor baby, not God, but his name does mean "God is my strength" so... whatever

Rings are the key to the sentimonster plot.

Here there be major spoilers, up through Emotion.

Gabriel Agreste sure does love rings. Not only does he wear one of the Twin Rings to control Adrien, but he turned all the Miraculouses into fourteen rings that he wears as Monarch, and now he's selling the Alliance Rings to all of Paris as his means for transmitting the Miraculous powers.

And this wouldn't be the first time he's used rings as part of a scheme. Now that the sentimonster theory is unequivocally canon, we've seen that it stretches far beyond just Adrien and Félix: the Diamonds' Dance indicated that Kagami, Chloé, Zoé, and even XY are sentimonsters too. And what do their parents have in common?

Granted, Tomoe doesn't wear a ring. But Kagami does, and…well, Tomoe did insist to Gabriel that she doesn't need to control her daughter.

I think it's obvious what I'm suggesting here. It's already pretty overt that all the rich people at the Diamonds' Dance had sentimonster children. So it's not a stretch to assume that all their amoks are in rings. Adrien's amok is in the twin rings, as is Felix's. Chloé's is in Audrey's ring, as is Zoé's. XY's is in Bob's ring. And then Kagami's is in her own ring.

That last part is the biggest hole in this, because Kagami's ring was her akumatized object as Riposte, meaning Ladybug had to break it to free the akuma. Maybe the amok wasn't broken because the ring had been transformed into a sword by the akuma, or maybe this is just a plot hole. Or maybe I'm wrong about this—I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Gabriel didn’t just threaten to kill Felix, he actually attempted it.

With what we know now, putting the akuma in his ring was a death sentence.

If Felix hadn’t rejected the akuma then not only would Ladybug and Chat Noir have to break the ring but when they did they would have found both a feather and the akuma and WHO WANTS TO BET THEY WOULD HAVE HAD THE KNOWLEDGE TO NOT PURIFY BOTH.

Poor kid had to fight for his life, literally. We know how hard it is to reject the akumas but he didn’t have a choice, did he?

Also, consider this both proof that Gabriel was aware of this fact AND proof that Gabriel is just so so stupid..so stupid.

This is actually depressing because of Gabriel's wish. Adrien doesn't remember being locked up or being subjected to abuse or neglect by his late and former abuser, who also happens to be his father.

Adrien has no memory of being forced to leave the one person he loved and sent to London against his will due to his father.

If you give it some serious thought. It's unsettling and incredibly fucked up.

Bugnoire referenced Felix and Kagami’s play to Monarch. She scorched him and told him that he couldn't simply snap his fingers to get rid of her because she wasn't a senti-being and was human.

She got underneath his skin with that statement.

She should’ve token the Ox Ring alongside the Turtle Ring.

Did anyone else notice that Luz’s glyphs weren’t working like normal during this latest episode?

Like, these are both screenshots from O Titan, Where Art Thou and as per usual, her glyphs activate on the paper and create their intended effect.

However, during Clouds on the Horizon, Luz’s glyphs are making spell circles like how other witches have to draw them!

And you know what the only thing that’s really changed between these two episodes is?

Luz has her palismen! I’m willing to bet that just having them in her backpack while they pick their form is giving Luz a power boost! Which is why she’s suddenly making spell circles with her glyphs!
