Talking about action scenes that get lost on the shuffle, Chris doing donuts in a missile while shooting Noise is sick as hell!

Your favorite character might be cool, but if they're not Yukine Chris, they will never be "Surf on a missile I summoned" cool!

I haven't talked much about transformations this season. They're good, but I find most go a bit too fast. Chris' is great though, I love her making an energy bow that turns into her gauntlet, and the way she's so high energy continues the theme of Chris progressively loving the power of Ichaival that she hated so much before.

These subs changed the joke since Cagliostro is calling them dango because of the color of their gears, but the ice cream joke because of their hair color is also pretty cute. Also, Kirika has fourth-wall breaking powers, which we should be scared of.

Extremely important scene with extremely important Kirika noises.

Also, I like tomatoes, but just biting into them like they're apples is real weird. I'm sure there are people who eat it like that, but it must be so messy.

Hibiki has clearly come far in her training, because now the stuff she says are just as confusing as Genjuro's motivational speeches.

I love how much Kirika loves Chris.

This is something a bit of characterization this season gives Kirika that I like a lot. She constantly tries to keep herself occupied while staying chipper and high energy so she doesn't have to think about her frustrations. Which isn't to say that her bright personality is a facade, but that she repress a lot of her frustrations and other negative feelings, a lot of them tied to how she feels useless without her Gear.

I don’t know if you can tell but I’ve been trying out this new shading method where I focus a bit more on shapes rather than colours. And it’s so comfortable!
