As a reminder, writer sign ups run until May 3, and summaries will be due May 10. We have created this long sign up period to ensure that writers have plenty of time to work on their fics ahead of signing up, and hopefully minimize the amount of pinch hitters we need.

Now Announcing: Teen Wolf Rarepair Mini/Big Bang

What is a Mini/Big Bang?

Last month the mods of this blog ran a general interest poll to decide what type of event to run. The votes were split fairly evenly between a Big Bang, and a Mini Bang, and we decided to run a combo event.

How will this work?

There will be two tracks for participants to choose from; a Mini Bang or a Big Bang. Whichever track is picked, will determine the timeline and requirements of their challenge.

Mini Bang Track Requirements:

Mini Bang Writers will be required to submit a fic that is between 10k and 20k words.

Mini Bang Artists will be matched with a Mini Bang Writer and be required to submit between 1 and 3 pieces of art based on the fic.

Big Bang Track Requirements:

Big Bang Writers will be required to submit a fic of minimum 40k words, with no maximum word count.

Big Bang Artists will be matched with a Big Bang Writer and be required to submit between 2 and 5 pieces of art based on the fic.

As of right now, we are only allowing one sign up per person. However that might change if we need to balance the number of writers and artists.

Accepted Types of Art:

Traditional art as long as you are able to submit a high quality scan

Hand drawn digital art

Photo edits/manipulations

GIFs

How we Define a Rarepair:

Any ship that has under 5k works on AO3, excluding cross over works. We are excluding cross over works to account for things like kinktober where the rare pair gets maybe five hundred words of focus.

If you voted in our polls you might have noticed originally we said under 10k fics, but we didn’t realize how much sterek’s popularity skewed the results. To account for such a juggernaut ship, we moved the limit down.

We are leaving sign ups open until a week before the first check in. This is to allow writers a chance to get a head start on their fics, and hopefully reduce the number of writers who have to back out due to unforeseen circumstances.

We are allowing for a writer and artist to sign up as a pre-matched pair! So if you and your mutual want that push to finally work together, you can sign up as a unit.

Rules:

No AI. If a participant is caught using AI, they will be blocked and banned.

The ship you are creating for must have less than 5k works on AO3 (excluding crossovers)

All works must be tagged accurately at the time of summary, and when posting to AO3. (If the tags change between summary and posting, that is fine.)

Stetopher Week 2025

Since the last Stetopher Week has been three years ago and the blog doesn't appear to be active anymore at all, after I inquired about a potential Stetopher Week for this year, I have decided to just host my own!

What? There will be daily prompts posted over the span of a week, two alternate prompts offered each day, in case you don't vibe with one of them.

How? You can fill the prompts however you want! Fanfiction, fanart, GIF sets, edits, meta posts, all are welcome as long as they are about Chris Argent/Peter Hale/Stiles Stilinski.

When? I've decided to go with the week of October 20th to October 26th.

Where? If you post here on tumblr and @ this blog, I'll reblog all your entries, but I will also put up an AO3 collection in time.

The Prompts:

Day 1: October 20th

Prompt A: two plus one Examples: A and B are in a relationship and they add(ed) C. Do you want to focus on how C integrated? On how A/B courted them?

Prompt B: v turned o Examples: A/B and B/C were in a polyamorous arrangement and now B and C are also developing feelings for each other. A and C were competing for B's attention in a love triangle and fall for each other in the process

Day 2: October 21st

Prompt A: Spark Examples: Is Stiles a Spark? Are there sparks flying between them? Is this about a potential Alpha spark for Peter?

Prompt B: Hunt Examples: Is the hunter on the hunt? Or the werewolf? Or are they being hunted?

Day 3: October 22nd

Prompt A: Family Examples: How is the sheriff taking his son's middle aged men? What do Malia and Allison think about this? Or maybe our triad are starting their own family together?

Prompt B: Pack Examples: How does the pack react to their relationship? Do they have a pack of their own, or is someone else their Alpha? Or are they in different packs?

Day 4: October 23rd

Prompt A: Eichen House Examples: Is it about Stiles' stay there? About Peter's stay? Are we breaking Peter out? Or are we putting Chris in?

Prompt B: Hospital Examples: Some of my personal favorite Steter and Stargent scenes happened in the hospital, be that Peter and Stiles' first face to face meeting, Chris threatening Stiles in s1, Peter and Stiles working together to save Cora in s3A, Chris and Stiles working together when they fake Scott's death in s4. Or maybe we are just putting one of them into the hospital outside of canon.

Day 5: October 24th

Prompt A: Red Examples: Blood? Alpha eyes? A certain red hoodie?

Prompt B: Blue Examples: Why are Peter's beta eyes blue? Or are we just really into Peter's regular eyes? Or Chris'? Or maybe one of them is feeling blue?

Day 6: October 25th

Prompt A: Weapon Examples: Is there a competence kink here? Chris with a gun? Maybe Stiles with a gun? Peter's claws? Or an unexpected weapon?

Prompt B: Caretaking Examples: "A Takes Care Of B" is an established, filterable tag for 3 out of 6 dynamics for this OT3. Who takes care of whom in this? And how?

Day 7: October 26th

Prompt A: Birthday Examples: Is it finally Stiles' 18th birthday and Chris and Peter have been waiting for it? Are we having some Peter angst about the birthdays he has missed during the coma? Is Chris struggling through Allison's first birthday after her death? Or is it the birthday of their first child together?

Prompt B: Defeating Death Examples: Is it about Peter's resurrection? About how Stiles died in the sacrifice ice bath and came back? Or maybe Chris has some fun stories about defeating death too?

Months after Chris is assumed dead from the fire he sacrificed himself in, Stiles happens to bring his jeep in for repair to a garage outside of town (the experience of seeing the mechanic working on it when he was in high school being crushed to death after the Jackson-as-Kanima killed him turned him off to the local business). He finds the person he least expects there, not only alive, but airing out his fucking wings. Apparently there is more to the hunter than Stiles ever realized.

After the mischevious rogue Stiles Stilinski takes Captain Chris Argent's eye in a fight, he finds himself taken prisoner by the dreaded pirate. Neither seems to be able to kill the other, and the more time they spend together, the stronger the unexpected attraction grows.

Chris sacrifices himself to bring down the bad guy's building, leaving the only survivors, Stiles and Allison, to assume he's dead. It's only this loss that makes Stiles realize just how much Chris means to him, as he refuses to accept everyone's belief that Chris is really gone.

Nov. 27th Pirate AU

“I really don't think you need to go to all this trouble, I mean, just for me? I'm flattered you think I could be dangerous en-ouch! Fuck, come on man this is just a misunderstanding I promise! Are the ropes really necessary? We're in the middle of the goddamned ocean where do you think I would even try to escape to?”

“Pretty mouthy for a stowaway,” Chris remarked, arms crossed and eyes never leaving the unwanted passenger now secured tightly to the mainmast before him.

“Oh I don't know,” Peter grinned, giving one last pull to the rope just to hear the young man squeak before finally leaving it. “I think a fast-talking, pretty young slip of a thing is exactly in character for the kind of stowaway who smuggles himself onto ships via barrel.”

As the fast talker pouted up at his first mate, Chris couldn't help but agree.

“I've been trying to tell you, there was no smuggling. In fact! Technically, there was only you, kidnapping me. I'm innocent in this situation!”

He gave the stowaway an exasperated look, letting his disbelief speak through silence until the young man was squirming uncomfortably under his gaze. Lesser men than him had broken under such a look from the Capitan, and the stowaway was no different.

“And what was such an innocent person as yourself doing inside one of our barrels in the first place?” Peter purred, leaning in as if to pinch the man's cheek, only to receive a scowl and bared teeth in turn.

“Oh nothing much,” he said, face pulled into a parody of a casual grin that promised the next person to touch him would deal with teeth applied to any appendage he could reach. “A barrel is just such a good place for a quick, undisturbed nap. No one thinks to look inside and therefore no one bothers you! So, you see, I think this little misunderstanding can be easily resolved by you dropping me off at the nearest port. It shouldn't be any trouble for well traveled men such as yourselves! Just drop me off further down the coast and I will be on my way and out of your hair.”

Captain and First Mate looked at each other, one exasperated and one grinning like a wolf among sheep.

“It sounds like you might be in a bit more trouble than you're letting on, perhaps enough trouble to risk jumping on board the nearest, random seafaring vessel,” Chris said, rubbing a hand over his chin. It was starting to prickle as he hadn't bothered to shave since entering port. “Unfortunately for you, honest men like us—”

Peter snorted, earning an eye roll from his captain.

“Honest men like us,” Chris continued, eyes moving up to the heavens as he begged the lord for the patience to deal with these half-baked loonies on his ship. “We're also looking to avoid the eyes of certain port officials. We like to avoid trouble that way.”

“Ah,” the stowaway’s smirk dimmed. “You mean—”

“You're shit out of luck, my boy. You picked the wrong ship.” Peter cackled, slapping his thighs and turning his grin on Chris. “So, the question is; man overboard or do we have a pretty new cabin boy?”

Chris sighed, but giving the now wide eyed and silent stowaway a slow once over he grunted assent. “You don't have shit. I have a pretty new cabin boy. Get those ropes off him and introduce him to the rest of the crew. The last thing I need is someone poking new holes in him.”

He left Peter grumbling something about the captain wanting first dibs on hole poking as he dutifully untied the now crimson faced cabin boy.

He had better things to do for now, some maps to look over and some tempting merchant ships to track down for easy pickings. All in a day's work for a pirate vessel, but somehow he found himself whistling a jaunty tune as he headed below deck.

Maybe there'd be some new excitement to be had on this trip yet.
