modern high school au where popular sirius only knows not-so-popular (loser) remus because hope works at grimmauld place.

sometimes hope has to bring remus with her to work, and sirius will find him lurking through the stacks in grimmauld's library. every so often sirius will leave out a book that he thinks remus will enjoy on one of the tables in hopes that he will pick it up. a mix of giddiness and pride fills sirius when he sees remus at school the next day reading those very same books.

when i write i kinda make every father a bad one, unintentionally. so, as a challange, i always pick one dad that i write as a supporting and caring parent. and that way i somehow started headcannoning Lyall as an awkward but sweet dad.
