i’m this vid but all of it at once. across the three verses, his knack for dramatics is pretty consistent. the journey to a sense of security always starts with the first opportunity for someone to betray him and whether they’ll pull the metaphorical or actual trigger. it could be an opportunity to steal his money, take credit for something he did, or try to turn him in. once he starts giving the other person a chance, you can tell bc he’ll initiate more conversation and joke around more where it doesn’t seem like he’s just insulting you

🚀 How far are they willing to go for the person they love? 

with bounty hunter vestir, his actions are completely unrestrained by any moral code. anybody who threatens aerith or gets in vestir’s way of saving aerith will be part of the blood trail vestir leaves behind. the draw back is that he is so scared to open up completely because he thinks he can’t keep anything good in his life; there’s always something inevitably going to threaten and harm him and anything associated with him.

meanwhile ex-stormtrooper vestir tries to be a good person bc that’s what aerith worked so hard to pull out of vestir. there’s still a lack of self-preservation though. he can turn against the first order, infiltrate aerith’s palace time and time again, spend 5 years non-stop to find the world between worlds. he don’t give a fuck!

he doesn’t. with the way he saw his parents it didn’t seem like truly made for one another. nor did he like the idea of them splitting to find the ones they were supposedly made for. to him, he really trusts his guts and doesn’t think anything is pre-determined. if he feels a certain way, he follows that feeling to the end of his line. he has like 2 braincells so sometimes it’s not Smort of him to always follow his gut but that’s just the dude he is.

his parents would have to pry it from him, but they won’t. they don’t really wanna hear it and he doesn’t want to tell them. he lives with his friends who are all straight so it’s a struggle at times. he always teeters on needing to ask for their advice and not wanting them to know his relationship is on some bs for the 789th time

not exactly. he’s not sure whether he really felt that before. his mind was never really fully into the relationships he did get into. either he put his job before the person he dated or he was too stressed about other things. he didn’t open enough to let the other person carry his burdens or even know about them. (insert smth abt him being scared of being burned again) (sprinkle in some dad-related trauma) he’s super protective of himself but he also thinks he might turn out to be a bad partner like his dad was so !

yes but he’s also like a himbo jock where he punches you in the arm. or runs up and catches you in a headlock. but if he gets deep in his feelings he’s a big hugger and can’t get his baseball mitten sized hands off that person

someone who doesn’t take her seriously. on paper, she does seem like an “eat, pray, love” positivity out the ass girl. to a certain extent, she is that person bc she firmly believes that the energy one puts out will return to them. there were various trends of belittling and patronizing behaviors she experienced growing up and she doesn’t want that in her life anymore

also up there on the list is someone who’s unwilling to change, whether it be someone who’s self-victimizing or too stubborn to transform themselves

based on track record? undetermined. in the past, she used relationships as a means to find someone who valued her so she could maybe find self-value herself. there was always doubt bc she wasn’t at a place where she was good with herself. she’s better abt that now but it’s also been yearssssss since she’s opened up to another the possibility of another relationship again

for a week she believed in metal straws so there’s that. she’ll believe in most anything unless it harms others. but she definitely believes a soulmate is someone god has for you that will endure both the greatest joy and most heartbreaking defeats of life with you. someone will love her, test her, challenge her, and walk through life with her

“Is that what we’ve been aiming for?” She feigned surprise at her poor friend’s expense. That feeling in her stomach edged on being painful after laughing so much. “How mad would you be if I told you it was already gone?” She pulled Duke’s hand away from her eyes.

“Though I’m sure you won’t be as mad compared to when I tell you there are probably more in the attic space.”

“Oh, it’s a fat one,” she cackled. “It’s got long whiskers and two skinny front teeth. It’s coming to find you right now and lay its boney little hands on you.” She chased after Duke with her imitated rat sounds and her fingers bunched together like paws. Truthfully, the rodent wasn’t even as big as the ones she used to see back home.

She enjoyed the expressions on his face. She was sure one day he’d get tired of her antics, but he hadn’t yet and so she would simply enjoy herself while she could.

“They have the best milkshakes for a summer day, especially after you walk a mile and a half to get here,” she lightly bit down on her lower lip to hide her amusement. Unfortunately, the corner of her mouth still curled up to a smirk.

He opened the door then propped it open by resting his hand on a spot well above her head. “I only hold doors for stand-up comedians. After you.” He waited for her to enter in. Her laughter was addictive even if it was at his expense. He rarely saw this type of mischievous from Li Jiao. Lijuan wore the smile more naturally and more frequently. The comparison was unintentional but he couldn’t help it.

The door closed behind them and the hanging bells sang out. The place wasn’t too crowded luckily. He nudged her and pointed at the TV screen on the wall. “This is my favorite drama. It’s the one where the small girlfriend bullies her handsome boyfriend who does nothing but support her and fixes her costumes.”
