I saw a post about what would be the perfect hair length for Batman.

And I got hit by the image of Clark coming home from work and seeing Bruce sitting on the floor with baby Cassie on his lap doing all sorts of things to Bruce's face and when Bruce turns to face him, Clark feels all the oxygen leaving his lungs at the beatifically adorable image of Bruce with his hairs tied up in a coconut pony on the top of his head and face covered in beautiful makeup, while holding Cassie in his arms in a way so she doesn't fall off or hurt herself.

He has to walk around for a bit to make sure he doesn't accidentally crush them to death with a too tight embrace before making his way to his little family and ensconcing them in his arms for the next half and hour. Bruce can hear him sniffle periodically while he's sitting on Clark's large lap with Cassie on his stomach and he can only laugh softly because his husband is nothing but a sentimental gentle giant.

Clark is 25, when he learns almost all of the medical practices necessary to save his life. It takes him 3 years to learn about it all but he never backs down.

Clark is 27, when he learns about ASL and BSL to understand him better than anyone else, it doesn't take him much time to master both of the languages and understand them clearly.

Clark is 30, when he memorises every single street and tunnel and hidden places in Gotham. The excessive lead makes it exceptionally difficult for him to complete the task but he never gives up. He spends his free time travelling the city on foot to make sure he has it all memorised, so that he can always find him in the case of an emergency.

Clark is 34, drowning in horror and grief as he holds his cold body in his arms unable to think rationally and does the only thing that his soul is screaming at him to do, he throws him in the pit, going against every rule and moral he stood for but he would rather have him angry at Clark them have him dead.

Clark is 37, when he saves his identity from getting revealed to the whole world, the whole ordeal almost killed him and even tho he doesn't like Clark meddling in his business, Clark would not sit still and watch him get ruined in front of the whole world.

Clark is 40, when he gets the complete and unrestricted access to his cave, and Clark understands that it's his way of telling him that he is ready to address and commit to the thing that has been growing between them for decades.

Clark is 43 and Bruce is 45, when they publicly announce their engagement and get married at a remote location. Sealing their fate together forever.

I think people don't really grasp at the undeniable fact of how deeply Clark is in love with Bruce, that their love,doomed or not, always commenced from the first sight. Superman had always been in awe of Batman and it's an irrefutable fact.

Clark has grown up on Earth, he has seen how the world works and how fickle grey and unstable humans are. He knows and sees the worst of humanity every day, seriously he sees it while he is Clark Kent the journalist and he sees it when he's Superman. He knows how little it takes sometimes for people to give in to the dark side and how hopeless all of it looks but then there is Bruce Wayne, the man who has suffered from fate worse than death. He lost his parents so young that having tangible memories of them would be a hard task, he grew up in a place which was surrounded by evil and blood hungry sharks, a world which was constantly luring him to give in and embrace the darkness, to think of no one else but himself and lose himself in the temporary pleasure of human flesh and wealth. He grew up in a world which is used to chew up vulnerable people and spit them back out broken and more fucked up than before. It would've been too easy for Bruce to choose that path, to not give a damn about anyone else but himself and resent the world for it's cruelty.

But despite all of it, despite all of the horrible unfathomable fate that was thrown upon Bruce, he still emerged as Gotham's hope, it's knight, it's prince and the only person brave enough to keep that city together. And it is an incomparable feat. Bruce looked at poverty,murder, injustice and death in the face and chose to sacrifice a life of luxury to give a chance of normalcy to the people of his city and the world.

Clark didn't think that being this selfless was ever possible, Bruce is someone who saw injustice and corruption since he was 8, he saw and got familiar with concepts no child should have to. His world was such that it always taught him that hope means nothing and that everything always slides on the plates of the ones who have pockets larger than they should be. Bruce saw all of it and decided to break the toxic cycle, and it is not easy, for the love of everything it is the hardest thing to do, to be the one who steps up and takes action and Clark admires him so much. There isn't a World where Clark Kent–Superman can come across Bruce Wayne–Batman and not fall in love immediately.

Bruce Wayne is the most selfless,pure and unreal man ever and Clark Kent is in love with him, he is head over heels for that guy, his love for Bruce is something that cannot be measured by scale, it's something so all encompassing, it feels like salvation, it feels like the hope after looking all around the world and seeing despair and death and Clark would give up his life for him.

His love for Bruce would never die, Bruce reciprocating his affection is not even in the equation,no, Clark never hoped for it once because Bruce's heart is so big and so dedicated to his cause and Clark is content to be Bruce's moth, his follower without ever getting acknowledged. But by some miracle his love is reciprocated and Clark vows to never put a dent on it and keep it safe and protect it with his life.

What’s your opinion on Batman’s no kill rule and the possible toll it might take on him?

(Also how his loved ones feel in regards to his slow mental deterioration, and by loved ones i mean Clark because c’monnn)

My opinion is that most people don't understand Batman's "no kill rule" and how fundamentally important it is to his character and to him as a person.

The typical answer most people get to this question is the fear of Bruce "that if I cross this line once then where do I stop?" Or "if I took a life of a murder then I change nothing but become a murder myself" and that are the reasons that he tries to convince him, to make himself believe in his rule.

But I think it's far more nuanced than that. See trauma is a very fickle thing, it's not something that only makes someone depressed or gets triggered by specific actions or words, it sticks to one's brain, especially if one goes through something traumatizing early in their life.

For example Bruce, he saw his parents getting murdered in front of him with his own eyes, he saw the life leaving their eyes and leaving behind nothing but shells of a body, he saw how someone's carelessness and disregard for mortal life and how it affected his own to the points of irrevocable ruins. And the thing is that it stuck with Bruce, permanently.

The thing is that trauma leads people to do things differently, it affects the person's entire life, it controls their moods, their mental attributes, their thought process, their everything. Especially in Bruce's case, who shaped how whole life because of what happened to his parents.

Bruce encountered something so deeply traumatic when he was just a kid, something that his mind didn't have the strength to witness or process in any remotely healthy way and it broke some part of him forever. Trauma is never shallow, and it's not visible easily. Even when the individual knows that they have trauma they don't sometimes see how deeply it affects them and their life.

So the answer is not Bruce will not kill people, the answer is that he can't, he physically cannot take a life. In Bruce's case, witnessing his parents death created this pathological obsession, this compulsion in his brain to preserve life at any costs.

Bruce couldn't kill someone even if he tried, the incident left such a harrowing trauma on his young brain that it put a mental block inside his subconscious against taking human life.

I believe that if Bruce were a non-traumatized person and a parent then there is a chance that Bruce would have killed the joker for killing Jason but he is not, he is a deeply traumatized individual,and preserving human life is not a matter of if for him, it's a matter of must.

And if there's a day when Bruce has to break this rule of his, he will kill himself along with it, he would not survive it. It's just not possible.

And for the question of how it will affect his loved ones the answer is simple, it will shake them and their foundation permanently. In Clark's case I don't think he'd be able to live with it. I always notoriously support Clark dumping Bruce in the pit after his death, but if Bruce comes out with all of his previous memories intact then even the pit wouldn't be enough, he will destroy himself again and again and continue doing so until Clark has to give up.

I think that I still won't change my stance on it, Bruce became Batman because he wanted to help, he doesn't owe anyone that. He doesn't owe his life to Gotham(no matter what people say)

And the fact that all of these crimes should be solved by police, the people should be protected by them, the justice should be brought by them but they don't do that.

So thinking that Batman should give up his morals and hurl towards insanity is pure entitlement. He does so much already both as batman and Bruce Wayne, how much more can the city milk out of him before he's not even a human anymore.

No but you're so right? I think people look at Batman and only think that he's a weapon, a shadow who should sacrifice his peace, his morals and his everything to protect Gotham. They really do not see him as a man, as a teen who left his home to protect Gotham and do things no kid should have to do, the things should have been taken care by the law in Gotham.

They feel entitled to his blood and soul and it's— I won't lie— deeply disgusting. He's just a man, not even a meta, fighting with villains who are also humans and should be held accountable by law but no, Bruce is the one who's supposed to give up his morals? His sanity? To protect them all.

He would have never had to become Batman of the damn justice system did their job and even after he became Batman, even after putting the villains in Arkham and jail again and again, the law does fucking nothing (how predictable).

To start off I really don't care about the 2 side ships at all. Both Zhao zhen and Bai chi or Bai jingtang and Gongsun, they're good ships and all but they're not for me. On the topic of jingtang and Gongsun's relationship being icky, I've things that are way worse so that doesn't affect me. It's just that I am only interested in Bai yutang and Zhan zhao's relationship.

I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START??? I LOVE Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao soooo fucking much 😭😭😭 I stumbled on the sci drama on accident and it was the best thing ever.

I love the drama, they did a great job with such a meager budget and the actors that played Yutang and Zhao were fucking great. That said the novels are SO FUCKING DIFFERENT the relationship between cat and mouse in the drama can not even TOUCH the relationship of novel's cat and mouse.

BAI YUTANG the man that you are, OMFG I've never fallen in love with a man faster than I did with him, he's the definition of a green Fucking planet, their romance is the the best childhood friends/sweetheart to lovers relationship ever. Yutang has been in love with Zhao since day 1. Since the day they were born which was just 2 minutes apart (yutang really doesn't like calling zhan gege(big brother) lol) but FUCK man Yutang is the definition of a SIMP LOYAL EXQUISITE MALE SPECIES.

All the things he had done in his life were for Zhao, he claimed his kitty when he was just 3 years old and more than half the people he picked a fight with were people who messed with his cat. He did everything for the kitty, the luxurious things his brother gave him were always used by him to make zhao's life better indirectly. He even BECAME a police officer just so he can be close to and protect his car forever. And he's SO damn possessive and protective of his cat, he's been swatting away every threat in zhao's life since they were kids.

Their love story is genuinely one of the best things out there and it is so PURE, the drama didn't touch a lick of that devotion (I know it's all because of China's stupid censorship or else I would have had the BEST ROMANCE on screen ever). Some things that I hated the most in the drama was how rash the mouse is with his kitty and it is a pure lie. Yutang is SO gentle with his Kitty. Also Yutang would NEVER yell at his cat or abandon him between investigations even if his life depended on it. Yutang would walk across fire for that man and he LITERALLY did, he literally walked into a burning building to save Zhao and came back with his hands on fire but still his priority was Zhao.

Yutang is NEVER leaving Zhao for anyone, Zhao can do anything and Yutang will still support him. That man is NOT playing about his kitty at all, he will literally fuck ANYONE up if they mess with his love.

I JUST CANNOT, they're so UGH. Yutang has never once raised his voice on Zhao, he has never been rude to Zhao nor has he ever been unfaithful towards him. Yutang is the man who would kill for Zhao and die for him too, AND he also cooks,cleans and does virtually everything for the Kitty. Because despite being one of the smartest men on Earth and a world renowned criminal psychologist, Zhao is despicable at taking care of himself? And why would he be good at it anyways, when Yutang has been doing everything for him since the start of time, Yutang learned to cook for him, to fight for him and pamper him. Zhao is the MOST spoiled little uke. He just has to sit there and look pretty and yutang would do everything for him.

In all of the 5 novels I've read there is NOT one scene where yutang is not there to protect the cat, there is NOT one scene where they have a stupid misunderstanding, because they have such a great understanding and immaculate trust in each other. Zhao can literally kill a person in front of Yutang and the mouse will still support him. Their relationship is SO healthy, it's unbelievable.

There's no such thing as distrust, hate or even the feeling of annoyance in their relationship, they are so devoted to each other. They DON'T even lie to the other person, the kitty will get nausea, stomach ache and jitterings if he tries to keep a secret from Yutang simply because his mouse is the best person ever and he never pressures the cat to tell him anything, he knows Zhao will tell him everything at his own pace.

Yutang is also hilariously and just so adorably in love with Zhao, he's shameless and so handsy half the time during the investigations the mouse is trying to get in the kitty's pants and touching him everywhere and he gets scratched every time. Despite his high sex drive (for Zhao) he's so respectful and understanding 😭 the kitty can say one day that he never wants to have sex again and Yutang would respect him without any hesitation AND he will still love him unconditionally. Their love really does not have any sort of conditions at all.

I love how their parents and everyone knew from the start that these two will end together and the know how fucking protective and possessive Yutang is of his cat, Zhao is the babie of both families even the Bai family loves him more lol and even the people in underworld know better than to touch a single strand of hair on zhao's head. I think people don't really grasp at the undeniable fact of how deeply Clark is in love with Bruce, that their love,doomed or not, always commenced from the first sight. Superman had always been in awe of Batman and it's an irrefutable fact.

Clark has grown up on Earth, he has seen how the world works and how fickle grey and unstable humans are. He knows and sees the worst of humanity every day, seriously he sees it while he is Clark Kent the journalist and he sees it when he's Superman. He knows how little it takes sometimes for people to give in to the dark side and how hopeless all of it looks but then there is Bruce Wayne, the man who has suffered from fate worse than death. He lost his parents so young that having tangible memories of them would be a hard task, he grew up in a place which was surrounded by evil and blood hungry sharks, a world which was constantly luring him to give in and embrace the darkness, to think of no one else but himself and lose himself in the temporary pleasure of human flesh and wealth. He grew up in a world which is used to chew up vulnerable people and spit them back out broken and more fucked up than before. It would've been too easy for Bruce to choose that path, to not give a damn about anyone else but himself and resent the world for it's cruelty.

But despite all of it, despite all of the horrible unfathomable fate that was thrown upon Bruce, he still emerged as Gotham's hope, it's knight, it's prince and the only person brave enough to keep that city together. And it is an incomparable feat. Bruce looked at poverty,murder, injustice and death in the face and chose to sacrifice a life of luxury to give a chance of normalcy to the people of his city and the world.

Clark didn't think that being this selfless was ever possible, Bruce is someone who saw injustice and corruption since he was 8, he saw and got familiar with concepts no child should have to. His world was such that it always taught him that hope means nothing and that everything always slides on the plates of the ones who have pockets larger than they should be. Bruce saw all of it and decided to break the toxic cycle, and it is not easy, for the love of everything it is the hardest thing to do, to be the one who steps up and takes action and Clark admires him so much. There isn't a World where Clark Kent–Superman can come across Bruce Wayne–Batman and not fall in love immediately.

Bruce Wayne is the most selfless,pure and unreal man ever and Clark Kent is in love with him, he is head over heels for that guy, his love for Bruce is something that cannot be measured by scale, it's something so all encompassing, it feels like salvation, it feels like the hope after looking all around the world and seeing despair and death and Clark would give up his life for him.

His love for Bruce would never die, Bruce reciprocating his affection is not even in the equation,no, Clark never hoped for it once because Bruce's heart is so big and so dedicated to his cause and Clark is content to be Bruce's moth, his follower without ever getting acknowledged. But by some miracle his love is reciprocated and Clark vows to never put a dent on it and keep it safe and protect it with his life.

With all the reiterations of SuperBat actors who would u pair with who? Or is Curensupes and Battison the only type of SuperBat for you?

The simple simp answer of mine would definitely be that I enjoy every variant of superbat. Even batfleck and cavilsupes (I'm HEAVILY ignoring most of their canon material here) it's just that they're sexy to imagine as middle aged men who have been pining for decades.

The top superbat I like to recreate in my mind is Dan Mora's superbat, it's elite.

I also like cavilsupes x battinson because of the dark potential it has. I don't know if it's an unpopular opinion or not but personally I am a big fan of Cavill in the black supersuit.
