"rhys, babe, you mixed up your inner voice with your outer voice," oliver fake-whispered, placing his hands on rhys' biceps for no other reason than that he simply felt like touching them. he couldn't help but chuckle at the step brothers quote, though. "do i detect a little jealousy here?" his tone was light, slightly teasing, and he let the question linger for just a little longer than necessary, an amused twinkle in his eye. "relax. sully and i just thought it would be funny. and if i'd known you would have agreed to sing with me i totally would've asked you to join us, mister —" he looked at rhys' outfit once again, frowning slightly as he tried once again to figure out what exactly he was looking at. "you know what, i give up. i'm not even gonna pretend i know what you are," he said, shaking his head. "you look really hot too, though. i'm totally stealing that cape from you sometime," he told rhys with a smirk.
"anyway, karaoke isn't just about being a good singer. it's about how into it you are. so let's sing something together! but before we do that, hold this." without waiting for an answer, oliver handed rhys his drink. he took a few steps back, then did a one-handed cartwheel that was surprisingly graceful considering the amount of alcohol he already had in his system, while singing fergie's infamous woah. "alright, i'm in the right headspace now. let's do a fergie song, or maybe the black eyed peas if you want to rap instead. oh! or we could sing apt!"
