obsessed with kris using things the player can't see to communicate with other characters. drawing on the window in the diner. 80% as much honey on toast as usual. silly faces and nodding/shaking their head. changing the tone of what we make them say to make it clear that they mean it differently. i love that it's shown time and time again that kris ISN'T apathetic about anything. kris wants friends. kris has boundaries and wants mom to know that what she did made them feel bad. kris wants the people in their life to be happy and kris wants affection. i love kris deltarune

Okay so I've kept careful track and this is what I've gathered

Orange is a girl, uses she/her, and presents androgynously

Yellow is a cowboy (gender-wise and also literally), uses he/him, presents mostly androgynously, and is also gay

Green is a chef (gender-wise and also literally), uses they/them, and presents androgynously

Aqua is Assigned Girl By Seth, Assigned Aqua By Seth, uses she/her, and presents femininely

Blue is a man, uses he/him, presents femininely, and is gay

Seth is questioning their gender, uses they/them (thank you @/capnportofficial!!), and presents androgynously

In conclusion, the seven human flowers are so Gender

(Also this propagates my theory that all utdr humans are born agender (only two human or human-esque characters so far actually associate with a specific gender (Blue and Orange (not counting Aqua because she was Assigned Girl By Seth))))

I like how the flowers are arranged in pairs of "mostly functional" + "sopping wet cat", and I especially like that Aqua the weird knife child belongs in the "mostly functional" category.

how can anyone hate Flowery. he shows Aqua how to hold a knife safely. he teaches Seth how to be more confident. he's Orange's big brother and hypes her up. he's friends with Green, sparring partners with Yellow and dances with Blue.

and he's SO PROUD OF ALL OF THEM 😭💖
